You are forever arguing as if somebody has said that a large userbase drop from Wii U tans 3DS to Switch would be a very good thing for Nintendo.

That is literally the opposite argument of what I was saying in the original discussion which is why when Thread 9 was closed off I intended to bed the discussion as it grows increasingly warped and out of context as each year goes by.

The original discussion was simply about whether the Switch would be perceived as a success if it sold a chunk less than the WiiU and 3DS had combined given Nintendo was about to merge two market strands of their business into one. I took the view that it wouldn't be seen as a successful move if sales weren't high enough to justify jettisoning the DS line. Others disagreed.

That is why, 6 years onward, my new stance allows the thread to remain on topic moving forward

Apparently it's been popping up on some sites as selling at a solid rate too, hopefully boding well for Prime 4 whenever it eventually lands as 3D Metroid has been gone for too long

You are clearly implying that someone has said that a drop in sales from Wii U and 3DS to Switch would be a good thing.

Nu-Eclipse, but to be fair - and this is why the length this has gone on is a bad thing - it's missing the original context of the discussion. He made the argument that there are other factors that need to be considered beyond hardware sales such as software sales, user accounts and the drive to digital etc. It's a fair point, we just differed on what that would mean to Nintendo under the condition that the Switch saw Nintendo drop in hardware sales for the second generation in a row. It quickly became an irrelevant discussion too when the momentum of Switch's sales became clear, their gamble paid off.

Metroid Prime 3 is the only Metroid I’ve ever completed, thoroughly enjoyed it start to finish in 1 sitting, the motion controls were fantastic and it had some great puzzles built around the controls. Prime1 is objectively the better game but i found the later puzzles annoyingly obtuse for the sake of it and always gave up at roughly the same point. Prime 2 I thought was awful.
