Given that Nintendo took the franchise in a slightly different direction with Wreckin Crew '98 on the SFC/SNES, I don't even know what a third Wrecking Crew game would look like.

This I could definitely get with...but would Rare revive the franchise? If not, would they give it up for Nintendo or somebody else to do so?

Rare should give it to someone else to make, they should give everything to someone else to make. It's still one of the clangers of the millennium MS buying them

Their like Triggers brush now, nothing left of the old Rare but the name.

Idea 03 - Next Level Games make a brand new Punch-Out!! game to follow up the underrated Wii game they made in 2009.

In reality...an HD port of Wii Punch-Out!! for Switch 2 would probably be more likely, which tells you that it's unlikely.

The NAND of a prototype Switch has shown a prototype main menu Nintendo considered. I prefer it

I've seen the Switch Flash style cart is out via a few vids on youtube, it lets you play switch games on an unmodded switch by behaving exactly like an official switch cart. it dose that by ripping the games unique identifier for that cart (every cart has its own different identifier) the problem i can see for nintendo is it would probably be pretty easy to see all the people using duped Identifyer's and issue bans. The problem is what's to stop people buying, dumping and then retuning or selling the game on.

Absolutely. They can't really ban consoles considering that, assuming there is absolutely no way to know who has the one legit cart. It would kill the used game market immediately.

Donkey Kong Country 7? Tropical Freeze is the fifth title in the series and technically that's part of the "Returns" sub-series.

Other than that, I could see the others happening. Nintendo were originally adamant about only the original Metroid Prime getting the Remastered treatment but the feedback to it has been so positive that doing the same for Echoes and Corruption is almost a no-brainer. That said, I can imagine Nintendo reverting to type and phoning the sequel remasters in instead of making the effort they did with MPR.

The Zelda Oracle games, overseen by Fujibayashi-san (who directed the GBC originals when he was at Capcom) and given the cute toybox treatment look a la the Awakening remake? Who wouldn't be up for that?

I would love to see the Oracle games receive that treatment. I had been planning to play the originals on the Pocket at some point, but the Link's Awakening remake was incredibly well done I would prefer to play them in that format, given the chance.

It's the logical progression imo. It just worked so well for Link's Awakening.

If they go that route again, it would be nice if Grezzo/Nintendo could fine-tune the engine to actually make it run nearer to 60fps or a much more rock-solid 30fps but that would surely be one for the successor hardware at that point.

Yeah, honestly, I would be okay with the same performance as Link's Awakening. I really thought the complaints over that were a storm in a teacup.

I find that the gaming audience at large gets really obsessed with framerates these days - probably because we generally have it so good in terms of graphics and performance that now everyone is hyperfocusing on optimisations. Unless they're really bad it doesn't bother me that much. The game is killer, which is the main thing. The art direction was genius!
