The other thing I have to keep reminding myself of is the rampant inflation. £300 in today’s money is a lot less than it was 10 years ago. I mean, I can buy like half a dozen items in Sainsbury’s sometimes and it’ll be a ****ing tenner. Sometimes it’s not even than many! 🙄

Most likely because switch 2 will have a different system. Better pull my finger out and spend the £13 of gold points I have sat in my Japanese account. May have to buy a cheap eshop card to add towards and buy that gundam breakers 4 season pass I have had wishlisted for ages.

MyNintendo Gold Points (and the waste of time that is Platinum Points) certainly weren't anywhere near as good as Club Nintendo points/rewards were, but I guess they were serviceable for digital discounts.

Curious to see what Nintendo replace it with, if they replace it.
