Eh, yeah. I'm not gonna feel pressured to drop £430 now just because it might cost me £530 next year.

The only PS5 that got a European price rise was the digital edition. Standard disc and Pro models have held their RRPs.

It's more likely than unlikely, although Nintendo have made a public recent point of moving all their stock storage and manufacturing facilities, so there is valid scope for wait-and-see.

Like I said, £400+ is still a lot for hardware that doesn't necessarily communicate clear value proposition right now.

Been playing MK8 with my daughter this week. We a right little pair of Robin & Zelda Williams

It's just a wonderfully fun game. It's made my want-o-meter absolutely cray NGL bro.

I'll be watching it for sure. I pretty much let all of the MK8D era pass me by so I'm interested to see what's truly new this time out for the MK experience.

Yeah I think that's fair. Personally I'm intrigued to watch it to see how the online is handled in this one.

The Mario Kart World Direct is on in 48hrs and I think I might sit this one out... or at least that's where I'm at currently. The whole concept of it being based around and explorable open world kind of makes it feel like the Direct will add a fraction of what it will take away from the experience on Day One

One thing I forgot to mention is that I did get a chance to test the adjustable prop on the back of the screen. This for, do they call it desktop mode? Anyway it’s very stiff/robust and you can literally stop it at any degree of lean as advertised. I am
like to use this because I find the Switch 1 far too heavy on my wrists.
