I was breezing through Cyberpunk at 100-120FPS with all sliders cranked to Psycho for 300hrs with a peppering of mods to make it look even better while all the console (specifically PS) paupers were busy chasing their refunds. LOL!

Even at that, Cyberpunk is a game that can (and should) be played more than once. I'm buying the Switch 2 physical version (our only physical purchase, too, as we fully embrace digital from this generation) because it's one of my favourite games, the whole thing comes on the card, it'll be ultra-dinky playing it handheld - 30fps becomes less noticeable to me the smaller the screen, the box art is nice and the label should look really cool on that red card, and lastly it'll be nice to finally have it on my shelf.

I also think CDPR deserve the sale the way they've supported the game with constant updates - something their main competitors in the field totally neglect time and time again. This game is going to sell quite nicely on the format - they'd be insane to leave that money on the table.

Yep, third party games coming to Switch 2 doesn't interest me at all but I think it will be a draw to many because, though the games are old, it's the ability to play them on the go that holds the appeal. The usual view is that people can just buy a Deck etc already if they want to do that but in practice the Deck is a very low selling niche enthusiast device so for most people with a PS5, Xbox or Switch the Switch 2 remains the only way to play newer third party games on the go. That might change when Sony release a true PS handheld but for this gen it seems like Nintendo will benefit from that again. Like pretty much every Nintendo system though, for me it's the exclusives where the appeal will lie.

For me, this has certainly been the case. And even now with a PS5, I will always be tempted to buy a lesser version on Switch first because of the handiness. I also own a Steam Deck and love it and the big draw there is how cheap games can get on Steam but, again, I'll often lean towards the Switch version because I find the Switch feels better in the hand and looks better on a big screen - I don't know if it's my television or what it is but I have the official Steam Deck dock and no game looks great on my TV.

The Switch is often a compromise but, accepting that, I usually find it's the best compromise.
