Can anyone reccommend an iPod alarm clock? I've seen them about, what I want is an alarm clock I can dock my iPod into (must charge it as well) and listen to music through the alarm clock.

I think any iPod speaker dock will work fine as the alarm is built into the iPod itself.

But isn't it cheaper to buy an alarm clock version? Also, the speaker dock won't have the time displayed large and bright all the time...

It's an excellent product with good quality sound. Have a read of the review on ilounge.com

A nice little feature is the battery back-up. Nothing worse than when the power goes and you alarm doesn't work.

My 16GB touch arrived today. I'm absolutely chuffed to pieces with it, it's almost sexually good looking. Very intuitive so far and an absolute pleasure to use. Only paid 225 quid for it off eBay too (all new and sealed up) so all in all a bit of a result! Only ordered it on Monday night too and it's already here, better than some shops.

Yeah its the tits. Fact. especially on wifi.

Although my safari has a few issues, when it doesnt load the page from my favourites etc. Not sure why. But a proper shut down and start up works. Perhaps an issue when repeatedly put into sleep mode?

Oh one more thing. you NEED a case for it. The chrome back gets scratched so easily with no protection. I ordered a kicks rubber skin for mine from play i think it was. Good stuff.

Yeah, I don't have wi-fi at home (although it has detected some secure networks near me anyway) but I'm looking forward to using it tomorrow as I'm on a course for work in a college with free wi-fi. Happy days!

I'll definitely get a skin for it though as it seems to be a magnet for smudges/fingerprints (obviously!). Any linkage to good products on that front would be much appreciated.

I have this cheap and cheerfull case and it works fine for me:

This only protects the back chrome and sides. The front is open. But practically unscratchable (check youtube for that too)

However i was thinking i may get the "invisible shield". Google that and look on youtube if your interested. Its just some proper hardcore silicon cover stuff (apparently used on helicopter blades) lifetime guarantee and all that jazz.

Downside is you have to apply this yourself. Looks a bit tricky from the videos on youtube, and also makes the ipod look a bit dull. (No perfect glass screen etc) Have a look for yourself.

If your on wifi tomorrow. Try the apple web apps. (apps/games for iphone and touch) I like weatherbug! pretty cool. New ones coming up all the time. Shame you have to be in wifi to access them unlike the iphone where you can use edge.

I guess this is probably the best place to ask. Just got a brand new 3G iPod Nano and I'm having trouble finding a suitable case for it. Anyone have a nano and able to provide some feedback on cases? My only 2 requirements are that I should be able to access the buttons as I would on the nano normally (i.e. not a iPod sock or wallet type thing) and that it shouldn't add too much to the form of the nano.
