LOL - everyone on here all so intricate with cabling and getting the most out of (expensive) TVs. Good stuff.
Down my high street you walk past Dixons say and they have some great big ****-off 40" Sony LCD with "HD READY!" stickers all over it - whilst it's running some sky box through composite. I mean, why bother exactly? Dumb ***** all over the place are buying these things and not even using the right cables which completely nullifies the point of buying one in the first place. Then they'll get home and think they're ****ing ace with their big screen whilst they show it off to their equally retarded friends who also ponder through life more or less totally brain-dead and ignorant.
My landlord for example, I went round his apartment over xmas and he has some big-ass random LCD that was being run in composite. I brought the matter up, it pisses me off big-time - ****ers with big income and big screens yet very little ****ing connection sense, or sense in general, or the visualisation sense to actually determine that the screen produces a ****ing ludicrously poor signal.
LCDs running in composite is the ugliest thing ever, I dare some of you to try it now - I'd rather have Jo Brand sit on my face for 20 minutes rather than endure 20 seconds of anything on LCD through composite.
I then went and had a rant about this in Gamestation with my old buddies. Some guy was buying some random pre-owned garbage so I thought I'd try and get him into the convo - he didn't have a ****ing clue what I meant.
They should just ****ing ban composite everywhere and FORCE people into using RGB if you have a SD TV or component or better if you have a HD TV. Or even better, force everyone into LCD screens - if you can't afford one then tough titty, save up. "You can't watch telly if you don't LEARN and APPRECIATE first!"
AARGHHH!! GAS THEM!!!! ALLLLLL!!!!
