Indeed, my business purchased my tellies. Comes out of my profits, I pay less in corporation tax.

They are going to be used by my business though when they aren't being xboxed.

The 32" Sammy is a great size. The lack of any depth makes it fit in relatively modest living areas, as you can place it further back than CRT TVs. Highly recommended.

I went for the 26" Samsung for a large-ish bedroom set-up and I'm glad I did. It's still a big screen. Remember, a 26" LCD TV has the same viewable area as a 28" CRT TV.

Try marking out rectangles representing the actual "screen-size" on your wall (26 inch diagonal and 32 inch diagonal at a 16/9 ratio of course). I was quite suprised at the difference, the extra 8 inches of diagonal length didn't result in as big a difference as I'd expected.

Maybe cos Microsoft bought all of them for their 360Tour?

It looks tiny compared to my Dads 32" CRT, and i was used to my 60" projector screen before, so yeah it's tiny

I'm supposed to be hearing from them as to what's going to happen. It'll go back to Sontec i'm sure of it. It wouldn't surprise me if they haven't connected it all up properly.

Your main factor in going 26" or 32" should be the viewing distance. It's mentioned alot in this thread already.

I do prefer the look of the Samsung alot and I also want to hook it up to my PC so the VGA is a big thing for me and wouldnt want to buy the Sharp and have troubles with it.

                      Thanks anyway guys!

I'm just so god damn impatient, I hate waiting!!!
The LE26R41B is back on dabs for ?605 - 5-7 days til stock though.

And FWIW with all the bad luck around here, I've had mine (LE26R41B) for 2 months now and it's a stunner for the price. I tried BF2 on it the other day and it's great playing it on a monster screen (compared to a 17" monitor anyway). I know it's not massive res but it's still great 8) Can't complain at all.

Well I can actually but it's nothing to do with the TV. I called Samsung two weeks ago pretending I'd had the tearing problem so they said they'd send me a CD and cable to update the firmware... it still hasn't arrived. 8)

Amazing. Anyone at all know a phone number or email address for dabs.com so I can check if those 11 due are taken or not? Also, anyone used the finance on dabs.com? Cant see any info on it, like do I need to send away documents or anything about it like who its with or things like that.

I might just try ordering that now..

If they are due in, then they aren't taken - those figures are what is available for purchase.

They use v12 for finance, same as S&V. All online, shouldn't be any docs. If you failed with S&V, you'll fail here too. Give it a go if you want though.

Just remember - you work 16 hours a week

Oh, and if they are quoting 5-7 days, then it'll be the same for every etailer. They all have the same supplier.

Aw crap. Is it even worth trying then if its V12 again!? Even if I do put 16, it wont let me, I'm sure they dont let you reapply within 6 months of your last decline!!

Could someone with a 26" Sammy post a review of the quality of retro consoles (SNES, N64, DC etc.)

                                Much appreciated
