Just been down to my local Comet and placed a pre-order for the preminum back, there was only 8 other people prior to me on the list. The guy did say they had plenty of PSP's available on launch day, so hopefully this will be the same.

With consoles is it the rule that later versions improve on the early ones being more reliable and cheaper to make?

yes look how many ps2 version they were but that was mainly trying to stop the fitting of modchips and improved on things

Not always eastyy, sometimes later versions have things removed E.g the GC had the Component port removed, Dreamcast changed the cooling to reduce the cost etc etc.

Also sometimes build quality has reduced in later versions of consoles, due to them moving factorys.

Just saw that oblivion faq though it does not need the hardrive things are improved with it.Though it does not say in what way.I would imagine though shorter loading
