    Thanks Jason,

One of the objectives is to make the AV stuff "Invisible" and chuck the old desk out. We want the view and light to be kept intact. My idea is for the TV to be on an arm in the back corner of the room, near some bean bags. A suitable PINK princess "Pillow Case" will be made to cover the TV, so when it's up against the wall it should blend into the girls play room quite well.

I could have gone for just using the projector for games, but not all games are suited to such a big screen.

It will be a challange, but priority 1 is the kids. I just hope I can put up a small 5.1 system, projector stand & TV without too much trouble.

It will take some months of saving and painting to get done, but i'll post the various stages.

Stage 1. Rip out the old office furniture, paint the room white, pink stripe, make a cover (Princess themed of course) for the sofabed.

I'll of course be looking to the mighty Nintendo for help with princess posters!

Here's my latest effort. It's now finished (!)...for about five weeks when I buy my new amp

For now, though, it's finished and complete

      edit -

This is how it looks at night (ignore the cables though - this photo is before I added the cable trunking)

Looks good mate. You know those crap tv shows that show people's photgraph's with ghostly apparitions in them, that's you that is.

Got to sort the cables below the desk though i think. A JML cable tidy is right up your street

I have some cable ties but they're a bit awkward to use. It'll take about a day to wire everything up and hide all the cables, sort out which cables can go together etc. I needed to disconnect my Wii last week and it took about an hour to get the plug cable!

What picture? Is there a naked picture of me reflected in the PS3 or something

What this thread needs is my garage. I will get tidying, and then take some photos at some point this week when I am high off the liquor and fishscale. Any requests for poses/stuff they would like to see in the pics? No nudes.

Oh No, it's a picture of Dr. Cox (Scrubs).

I was expecting some really embarassing picture of me had managed to get in the way and I couldn't see it

It looks like it is, but it's the perfect height for me and where I use it. When I'm sat down, the centre is at perfect eye level. If I was closer to the screen then, yes, it would be too high. When I'm stood up and playing Guitar Hero, it's at head height

                        Exactly
                        Or Wii Sports.

Haven't posted in here in a while and thought getting a HD telly would be a good excuse:

Thought I'd add pics of my current NTSC-J Dreamcast and Saturn collections too since I'm currently in the process of adding to them. Some obvious games missing from both collections as I've yet to get round to replacing PAL versions but I'm getting there!

Well I've been shamed into it so I've re-tidied my cables behind the cabinet The only ones that are visible now are the ones going to my 360 (power lead, HDMI cable) and the ones going to my PS3.

Nothing has changed drastically since the last time I posted, but here are some new pics.

My current setup, the gap there is waiting for an Elite to fill it.

                              Toshiba 28" Flat Widescreen CRT
Panasonic DMR-ES20D Freeview / DVD Recorder
                              Panasonic SA-PM28 5CD MP3 Stereo
                              Nintendo Wii
                              Sony PSTwo
Livebox Router (for PC, Wii, DS, PSP, and soon to be wired to 360)

Everything (inc Super Famicom in drawer) is connected via RGB SCART, using Vivanco switch box.

Bottom drawer (there's a modded Super Famicom under the stuff):

                              Top drawer:

What's the unit, mate? (Furniture, I mean). Where did you buy it, and how much did it cost? It's a very nice beechy colour.

I like the idea of having drawers for the dozen or so sticks I have.
