Had myself a reshuffle last week and decided to put the PS2 and Xbox into storage along with their games.
The two and three deep stacking of games that was in place before has for the most part gone, with only the Japanese Gamecube titles being stacked two deep.

It's an Alphason AD5/47-s, if I recall correctly, I got it a couple of years back from my local Currys for ?99.00, though I don't think they carry the range now as I'm sure it was a reduced to clear price.
The only thing being glass shelving is that you can see the wire trails, leading of it, but I am more than happy with it and it's served me well. It's also used in a small room just as you plan to.
It used to have twice as much stuff packed into it too but half of that's in storage now.
Current arrangement.

Getting on for about 6 years old, still going strong.
@Akihabara Love the fact you have dedicated TV's for your different consoles. You still got all your cabs?
The amount of stuff you have is awesome.
If you ever get bored of any of it you know where to send it.

No I only have one New Astro City left. I didn't have the space anymore and got a new car/some new console stuff. I am sure I will buy a second cab again someday, just don't need it for now...
The screen on the left next to the Sony Trinitron is a VGA monitor for Dreamcast use only. Dreamcast looks terrible on the plasma.

Hope that helps,

I've been lurking on this thread for ages now, love looking at other peoples' stuff and planning out that ultimate games room that one day will be mine! Kinda wish I had the space to unpack and put out the massive amounts of electronica I've amassed. But for now, less is more:
On the lookout for a surround sound amp at the moment, but keeping it simple stupid for now.
