Ah - the kit further down is just the N64, GC, Xbox (xmbc) and 360. 360 is raised slightly for airflow. Not very exciting. He likes the glowing buttons on the MS products. They are like magnets to his bionic baby-enhanced fingers. That's why everything else is stacked up like an AV tower.....

Heh. the stones and shells and stuff are hiding the TV cables, which I have yet to bury in the wall. I'm picking up a fireguard today so we can have a fire instead of candles. But yes, it was her idea to hide the cables with pretty things.Comment

The cardboard sheet came from the box for the stairguard, so it's achieved double guarding usefulness.

Could you also let us know how you get on when you do run the cables through the chimney breast. I've been advised to have it swept and capped before doing the same and apparently those firebricks can be buggers to get through as well...Comment

bloody nice setup you have there id never know what system or what game to play if I had that lot, ive trouble deciding between halo3/pgr4 tbh
also if your running out of room, id gladly lend you my spare room to store it all in, easy commute from cheltenham and i'll grant you access say every 4th weekend of the month
