No just my one slot CMVS through the Jamma edge. No issues at all, I'm so glad I invested in this cab. Looking forward to you getting yours soon too, are you getting an Atomiswave by any chance?

Tate'd the cab earlier for a spot of Ibara, great game, but hard as nails game though.

yeah, I'm getting an AWSD - how is the six button layout for neo? I fancy getting a four button layout instead and converting it to 7, is it easy to tate too? did you tate it by yourself?

lovely cab, I didn't see that one for sale hehe

Stuey: nice work - lovely cab, and it looks right at home already

kernow: The E2 easy-tate is a godsend at times and really easy even with just 1 person. Would recommend doing the 7-button too - must admit I'm not too used to NG layout but even still I can appreciate having the proper layout rather than having button 4 on the lower row...

Plus it looks pretty nice ;D

trying to get hold of an egret control panel to mod, the cab I'll be getting is a 2 player 6 button one at least. so its not too bad, I might drill that out for 7 buttons, or , I might just get a 3 button one and drill a fourth

thanks for the info! lovely cabs both of you.

            Hi Kernow,

It's not too bad with the six button layout after a couple of hours use I got use to it, but converting to 7 would make life easier and it will be something I will get round to doing at some point.

As fuse has said the Egret II is user friendly to rotate for tate as the whole screen is mounted on a rotating mechanism which does mean it can be done by one person.

It was still scary the first time I did it, as I thought the screen was gonna fall out when I loosened of the last wingnut. But my fear was short lived. The screen is still weighty even though it's support on the mount and positioning it for the first couple of wingnuts to go back in after rotating can be tricky if your on your own.

If your getting the AW cab I would exercise caution if you're going to be doing a screen rotate and make sure you have a friend with you that you can trust.

It's an interesting compromise to have to make a higher res screen > over rotate or rotate > screen res, even the Egret III doesn't have the rotate mechanism.

I know that if I didn't get lucky with getting this Egret II then my name would be been down on the AW group order that the killercab guys are doing.

When you do get you cab please be sure to post pics of it too, the more the merrier.

I have to say this is some of the best money I have spent in all my years of gaming.

Fuse that control panel looks great, lovely stuff.

Oh and why does it say REgretII on the illuminated panel? Have you had Frank Sinatra round?

you'll get better results from surround sound if you put 2 of the speakers behind you..
