Neutral is boring though, 'feature walls' are in, with one wall being papered with some fine flocked wallpaper being the thing to have.

I'm not sure about boring, but it's definately very common and safe. There's a good reason it's common though.
Colour should be introduced for accessories rather then walls and carpet. I'm sure a non neutral look would be best left to experts in the right sort of property.
Also I personally find a feature wall with the shiney floral wall paper to be bit tacky.Comment

Never could resist a good "post your setup" thread. Waiting on a 50" HDTV to be delivered to go alongside it all. Gotta get rid of the small TV's...
Would have more games there, but someone's been stealing them from the lobby area of my building before I've picked them up. Feckers.

I've tried really hard to make a 3 console setup look wife friendly, and spent time clearing the cables.
Plasma is getting on a bit, but still really happy with it. (2x HMDI and 1x component for the Wii)
