Quick questions for you peeps who use sticks and particularly the Hori Real Arcade Pro, did you find it very difficult to go from the pad to the stick? Something?s seem to be a lot easier then they were on a pad but doing Dragon Punches on P1 seems far to hit and miss and cancelling into a SA simply does not happen. Or did you just simply get used to it?

Can anyone advise me on parrying Super Arts a little more? I can do Shinkuu Hadoukens and the other projectile ones with ease, but things like Makoto's SA2 and Chun Li's SA2 I find really, really hard. It's OK if I block the first hit then parry the rest, but I can't ever parry that first hit. I've done Makoto's SA2 by fluke, but that's it :\

That Hugo player is amazing. Saw some vid at shends where he fought a remy player and the parrying at the end when he got abused with ... spinny throwy things (damn my memory) is better imo than the diago thingy, which was prolly only really (super) good coz of the reaction of the crowd but meh.
Oh nd the vs air fireball bitch Akuma aswell. That's class, goes on forever. YSB or something i think his name is, 3 letters anyway

Well, I can't find the resident Elena expert, so I'll have to do. Against poor players, the fact that no-one plays as her counts in your favour. By simply repeating her specials you can get a result. Against anyone half decent, and it's a decent story.
Keep away. Elena can't take many hits, but she has range (especially her f+mp/mk overheads). The rhino horn is all but useless, it'll be ducked and you will pay. It is effective as an anti-air (except against the cheesy air hurriance kick). The QCB+K move can catch people off guard, but again once blocked you're toast. If you use it often, try to mix up whether you add the last QCB or not. The last hit can be delayed slighty, so play around. The EX version can fool people, as it has 4 hits. The QCB+P and Lynx tail are useful on opponents getting up, as long as they have no decent wake ups. The lynx is more useful, as it's got a longer ranger, to keep you safe. Watch the QCB+P, choose the punch wisely. Overdo it, and you'll end up jumping over them, and you'll be confused for a second. If it hits, mix it up with a crouch attack and the f+mp/k attacks. If you can manage it, a QCB+P into Lynx can cause a decent amount of damage. Don't forgot her crouching FK can be used as a slide, and is semi useful in evasion.
EDIT - The overheads take an age to come out. If you use them close, you'll get hit by pretty much any quick attack.
Special wise, I always go for Brave Dance. The SA1 doesn't do enough damage in my opinion, but it depends on your play style. If you choose healing, chances are you'll get a fireball or gigas for your troubles. It can catch people by surprise, but leaves you very vunerable.
I always struggle with shotos as Elena, but I think that's down to me being rubbish. I rarely lose to a Dudley though, for some reason.
Don't pay too much attention to this, I'm still not very good. Just that bob all people play as Elena (except maybe Fuddle). Now excuse me, I'm going to gloat over whupping you into next week [lights cigar]
