Did 40 matches vs shin sang joon and ended up 19/21 to him, he didnt drop at all. But maybe he was getting more trounced by you than me. Less frustrating when you win a lot, less chance of droppage?Comment

Picked this game up a few days ago, got my ass handed to me on a plate by all these new characters im not familiar with - Hugo seems a little unbalanced but after 2 days of play thats probably just me not figuring out how to counter him effectivly, also does the lag effect both the host and the challenger? or just a challenger?

Hugo's not unbalanced, you've just gotta stay the hell away and don't go near him when he's rising, else it's a free 360 for you!
Who are you playing as? I suggest Makoto, Urien, Twelve or Necro to beginners. Although most people will disagree :P
Learn the parrying (press towards as someone hits you, watch the Daigo video if you want to see it done properly, and practice it in the parrying training mode) and you'll be down with us homies quick enough.

is there any way to guard against a throw super art (read: bitchas(s) breaker), then? or would it be more effective to use 'keep the **** away' tactics?

uhg, thanks for the games singho. Soz about the badness and random not doing anything but I thought I'd try using the Spad of ass again coz I still aint got my convertor back... when I'm chuffed to actually pull off an SA when I try for it there's something not right there...
