I think I'll be needing an alternative to farming now, seeing as how the drop I've been relying on for my gil over the past month or so is now reaching an all time lowsimply because of some morons who don't seem to understand the way economy works - high demand should = high price, once some random idiot puts a stack of an item on the AH for 7k for example when the PH is 9k, the price overall lowers. Now that Sleepshroom is selling at a price I now deem a waste of time to form 10 stacks, I'm back at square "look at me, I got no gil because this economy is ****ing stupid"
Farming is quickly becoming a game of chance, and most crafters are too stupid to charge good gil for their items. Sure, there's a food item which sells for 70k each, but the ingredients needed to make that item will probably cost you 69k or something like that so the process becomes pointless and I'm not one of those Jp players who seem to have lvl 75 in every job, who seem to be able to crap gil out of their asses, and despite me having been playing for almost 2 years now, I'm still as poor as one of those ? noobs.

i got some slight tips for you guys on wer to farm.
- Yagudos in Castle Oztroja specially those that drops Ninja Scrolls. some are worth 50k, some are worth 200k. thats only for one drop. at 50s you might need another with you. Yagudo Conquistador usually drops good Ni spells.
- in King Ransper Tomb, Spook drops Travellers Mantle. a good 100k item. If you can tag along some1 with you you might be able to get some of these during the night.
- Beaudeux, some of the Ooze there drops an earring worth in 100k as well. these mobs usually con weak at 50s so you might want to check em out.
a lot of patience is required but if you get lucky you might rake it in.

Once Apathye gets the CoP expansion, Promys will be a priority.

Picture time (some are pre-break, others post):
Me and Wedge battling Ahtu for a quest item
One of many battles with Goblinsaviour Heronox. Don' think she (yes, she apparently) dropped the great axe on this attempt but I got it eventually.
My first battle with Falcatus Aranei. Dropped the Webcutter scythe first go but I always check to see if she spawns at the end of a farming session as a spider web is a guaranteed drop and last kill I got 2.
My reward for killing Falcatus (I actually ran around Jeuno in RSE with this on my back for ages after I got it, don't know why :/)
Old friends {See you again.} ^_^
This picture tells a story mch greater than I ever could in words.
Last night's skill up session with Vanicent and Apathye. Shooting goblins is fun.
And finally preparing to race back to San d'Oria.
Also a bit of information for Darwock regarding the old level cap and the Shadow Lord. According to an interesting thread on Allakhazam I read this morning from someone who played during original JPN release, when the level cap was 50 the Northlands regions were not actually available to explore. They were unlocked in the update that also raised the level cap to 55 meaning the mission wasn't available until the level cap was 55. Hope this helps you.
I can't personally verify this but the person who made the post also stated many other things about the early game, some of which I know for a fact to be true so I think his information is right.
Oh and a special shout out to Apathye for helping me get a second Dodge Earring last night. Slowly but surely my Promyvion gear is coming together. Once I have the 400k+ katana everything is cheap.

Well just thought I'd say I'm home and will be back online soon enough. In about 5 mins to be honest just going to reload my mules in a moment.
Good to hear things have gone well for folks, congrats rare on your scorp been along time comibg that one, and ditto to tobal on clearing the ZM. In a short while I'll be looking to start my ZMs as well really looking forward to it.
As for making money, I've found a combination works best for me. I've HELMed, crafted and farmed my way to money throughout the time with the one BCNM r8un thrown in for good luck. Now I'm back hopefully Darwock will be ready to take on that 3 man lvl50 and see what we can get?
One thing to say about crafting is try raising the cheaper crafts first. Alchemy I'm not sure on this but I think has made me money getting it to level 60. I can bnow HQ things like animal glue which will make me a tidy profit. Cooking is another nice one to raise about 50k invested got me to 55 on that though I'm not sure there's much profit to be had but it has made a good support craft to help me raise others. Last ones to mention are smithing and goldsmithing, just getting the first few levels in these by making copper, bronze and brass ingots will all turn you a small profit and get you on your way in crafting. If anyone wants to ask any questions on any of the crafts I've raised feel free there's no big secrets thing right now I have
59 Alchemy / 55 Cooking / 22 Smithing / 22 goldsmithing / 21 Woodworking / 198 fishing and a few bits and bobs in the others. Equally if you need something crafting I will try if it's in my level range, probably useless bar the alchemy and cooking mind

WB Tsing
Finally made level 50 in the early hours of Saturday morning and have all my level 50 equipment so I am good to try the BCNM50 asap.
I would also like to do another BCNM40 if anyone else is up for it - don't mind which one!
I'd also like to skillup my Sword which currently is at 128 if anyone else is at a similar level. Never really done a proper skillup session so not sure the best way to do it...

Well today could be a big day for me and Tobal, possibly going to get access to Sky a bit later, currently doing a few of the solo missions upto the Sky Mission.
Really just waiting for those we were with yesterday for ZM8 to come online, most of them are from MooglesVengence which was not planned it just seemed to come together.
As for the Zilart Missions im having a total blast going through them, ZM4 and 5 are a bit of a pain but ZM8 is awsome, I wont go into it though as I dont want any spoilers, I will just say at times they have been very good.
