Final Fantasy XI Then...

Due to my computer messing up i'm in the process of recovering my data,it looks like i'll have to reinstall the game ,i've had to reinstall windows xp so far.....
I'll spend most of friday doing that as its my day off and i'm on holiday next week
I preordered dungeons and dragons online through game but cancelled it as i've been hearing mixed opinions about it.Silly buggers still sent the beta!!!
Tried it..... dont bother folks,it has a very unfinished look about it.I can see it only getting very poor reviews.Stick to ffxi or wow.

No DnD online for me - perhaps if the campaign setting wasn't the same one used in that PoS dragonshard I'd be tempted to investigate - Video game developers should stick with Faerun ala neverwinter nights 1 + 2, both of which are FREE to play and (the prior at least is probably 100x the game that stormreach is).

As for ToAU, I will probably go with gamestop again unless I find it on Ebay, unless of course I am correct and the retail version of the 360 version will contain the visual improvements promised.

On that note, I actually pre-ordered ToAU from Gamestop the other night, and it comes to a total of about ?26, including shipping costs. It remains to be seen if the gits known as Customs will add import tax to that or not though...

I wasn't hit by customs when I bought CoP from gamestop - they even got it to me in less than half a week which was impressive and they usually stick in a free sample size bottle of something or other for whatever reason.

2/3 of the way through a test of true love, another huge request for a small reward

Opened all the advanced jobs on the NPC

But if you do Promyvion ENMs, I'd tag along to Dem to use my last Memosphere.

Anyone else having problems connecting today? This morning I managed to get into the game but an error message wouldn't let me get to the character select screen.

Now I can't even log into playonline Don't tell me some vengeful RMTs are attacking them now - why is that this seems to be the only mmorpg that suffers security breeches?

I've had the same problems too :-( Levelling my warrior to lvl 17 and blowing out on lizard armour has been sadly denied. All is not lost however; I discovered the addictive, taxing and yet fantastically chilled joys of Hexic and then took the dog for a two hour Manchester 'Ipod Nano accompanied' street walk. Brain, ears and mutt satisfied in one afternoon courtesy of Square Enix. Result!

So anyone up for going to Monarch Linn for a level 40 cap ENM today?

Spoken to Rare and we have planned a 7pm meet up, so if you want to join let us know, its a 6 person ENM fight, level 40 cap.

You need to have access to the Riverne Site B (I think) where you go for the Mammet fight.

You on need Riverne A (or B), it just that A route is longer because you need tyo farm 2x scales, and you can only access B after completed mission 3.5

Reading up onthe tactics, seems the trick is the Plant will be randomly weak to 1 elemental, ouch you find what it is, it well chip away its always on Buffs (phanlex 1st, 100 damage spikes later) till it goes for 30secs. Suggestions are rng and magic attacks, and only meleeing when the buffs are down.

It also use fire2, paraylze and aoe sleep spell so posion potions will be need.

I'll gear up my samurai for Melee and Range gear so i can flick between the 2.
