A pearl is what you equip in order to have access to the Linkshell - that is what you will be given. A sack is something that certain people have that can generate a new pearl.

Yup once you have a pearl you will be able to hear us go to make tea, discuss the finer points of life and make more tea.

In other news at last the kitty gave up its tooth, Nue Fang = Mine! 1/15 in the end 1/3 usinf a THF sub, I think there may be a moral to this. Used WAR for faster claims but I think THF would have been more prudent.

So next on my list is to clear the final level 1 assault in Periqia, anyone else interested? Looking at reaching superior private over the next few weeks ready for the update. Start on my Turban as well last night so things are moving, think its time I gor another to do list sorted as its getting out of hand again.

Tonight I'm off kart racing but hope to slot in a bit of crafting when I get back, clothcraft to 53 beckons.

Last night was a horrible disaster in terms of all the things i had planned to be doing, not a single thing went according to plan.. the positive side of this is that as a result I got into a winning team for Diabolos and we kicked his arse first go... 2 minutes 26 seconds and that was with some hesitation while we discussed where to stand.

So another one checked off the list.. I'm just left with Fenrir, the 2 notorious monkeys-on-my-back, Maat, and I would also like to see Dynamis before I go. So what's the score on that one? I believe I've now reached the publically acceptable level for taking part (5 levels higher than when the game tells you you can..) so do I need to get on a waiting list somewhere or something? How do I get involved with that Dynacore group?

If you want to go in with dynacore got to dynacore.mywowbb.com and apply there, once I get from holiday I think I'm going to start in Dynamis. A full set of AF2 would be nice and I want to start work on relic gear, the target is excalibur and the likelyhood of getting it is low...

After AF2 comes the real challenge getting my hands on a set Koenig, think 12 months in a HNMLS may just about do that ><.

Hmm really do need to sort out priorities again, just drifiting at the moment.

OK, that's done but I don't see any Rargh people under the member list? I assumed you all used Dynacore as it's the only one I've seen mentioned, are there alternatives?

Looking forward to the BCNMs tonite im all set. Should i bring meds? Are we doing it 6 times?

If i get time think im gonna have ago at the Sleepga 2 quest or the Brown Belt quest so that i can sell them for the gils for a hauby!

Btw, have we any chance of the Bowyer BC before sunday?

Yeah we're doing it 6 times so pack a lot of meds and try to have space for the loot from your run.

I think it's been discussed already but how are we working it? Obviously most of us can leave the arena before popping the chest so only one of us has to make the journey back through the temple...

but - what's involved with getting back? Everytime I've gone into the Den we've had to clear the paintbrush room due to aggro and kill the temple guardian, and that means (in my case at least) I can't do it alone.

So either we give somebody high enough to avoid temple aggro (if thats possible) the job of opening the chest for the weakest members turns, or we send a small group back out each time?

Well I will be around tonight as it turns out but not sure what time, I'm racing after work and will be back when thats done so I'd guess 21:30 - 22:00 though far from sure and I'll need to eat when I get in.

Bear in mind 6 runs of the 60 BC will take 4 - 5 hours most likely.

You are going to need at least one person with a Paintbrush of souls key item to open the entrance to Den of Rancor. The room aggroes to level 70 but I don?t get aggro at 75 so at somewhere inbetween aggro ceases. There are 4 tonberry in the room and if you get aggro in the process of trying to open the door it interrupts. Therefore its recommended that your paintbrush user is 75.

You will also need an unlit lanterns to open the ZM4 gate. Preferrably more as it will require 4 trips (with high aggro risk) with a single lantern. The Alter of Rancor is guarded by 2 bomb mobs that may be camped (most likely by RMT) but if they are up they would aggro casting so lantern user will need at least some non-white magic form of sneak/invisible. Once through the ZM4 gate it can be opened from the other side so the coffer after a win should be opened after the other 5 exit the BCNM.

I?m fairly certain Tobal has a Paintbrush of souls so I would recommend he opens the coffer and makes the return trip although that would require a fair bit of Oil/Powder use on his part.

EDIT - I'd forgotten about Temple Guardian. He will need to be beaten each time. He is an easy duo though I think. I've soloed and when teamed with Apathye, he's quite easy.

I?m unsure who has Unlit Lanterns in your group. I know last run I was the only one who did.

Also, last run I don't think we packed many (if any) meds. Whilst I can't speak for mages I know melee didn't extend much beyond EXP food (i.e. Sole Sushi).

Last thing, if anyone in your group has a Temple of Uggalepih Coffer key, I recommend they take it as the coffer can spawn in the room you exit the BCNM too which normally requires a Prelate Key to get to.

Good stuff, a BCNM that doesnt need med overload... I was worrying about how I was gonna carry enough and still keep space, I renewed my mog locker lease last night to help with that.

I'll happily give over all my oils/powder if someone makes the return trip on my behalf.. I think myself, kuponut & djtickle are the 3 people who are at risk.

If a bunch of us are leaving each time that's more oil/powder wasted anyway than if one person can do it using everyone else's supplies.

I have a coffer key but I was saving it for my summoner AF, which could still happen one day I suppose.

I have yet to complete a 6-man BCNM (40 or 60) that has required meds. Maybe mages use drinks but nothing excessive like Potions/Ethers.
