This relates to the 2 rival fortune tellers in Lower Jeuno correct? (going off on a tangent slightly but the quests I have done for these so far have been incredibly funny) So far I have done the quest to get a crystal ball from Maze of Shakrami and the Tarut Cards quest a well. I have the quest to get the male fortune teller another Horn Hairpin active at the moment. When I try and speak to the other one she asks if I want my compatibility with another player testing. Do I have to PT up with people and have compatibility tested 4 times, on 4 different game days with 4 different player characters to be able to progress?

CoP ? I?m not sure where I?m going with this at the moment. From what I understand, me Moot and Apa are supposed to be teaming with Nyoneme and a friend for 2-5 onwards and we are all set and ready to go but I?ve not heard anything since. I hope people aren?t expecting me to take the lead on this but as the whole thing came about with discussions between Nyo and Apa I kind of assumed they would be the responsible parties.

Moblin quest series I may have started too but I?m not certain. I did do a quest over a year ago whereby a Moblin asked for a special kind of Bomb Ash which I handed in and got a reward back in Bastok for. Is this the right thing?

Also, my real priority still is the Dunce Hat. Once I have that I see no reason not to EXP on to 75.

Sleepga2 quest ? Hairpin is the last 1 you?ll need from the Fortune teller, The Relationship reader just needs it doing 3 times (anytime, as long as it a different gameday) no party needed, just need a players name in the same area, its case sensitive as well. On the fourth reading you will be offered Rubbish day

Moblin quests ? Yep that?s the first quest but requires more offers and in a certain amounts to, along with a ?trick? to it as well to get a the last item (took me a while to figure that one out)

As for Chip farming it be easier to go into an uncapped area and Whack the crap out the item droppers.

And as for hat, I?ll come for the fight, you just need to get in party, I counted at least 3 you?ve missed recently.

The problem I have is that I cannot bring myself to stand around in Jeuno waiting for shouts for Misions/events I need to do so I tend to miss a lot of things.

I need to be active and doing something, whether it be farmin, questing, NPC leveling etc. just something to keep me occupied.

The only times I tend to be in Jeuno for any length of time is when I am waiting for specific LS events to commence and obviously I cannot take part in anything else from then. last week for instance I was in Jeuno and saw shouts for O.Hat and ZM8 but I had already arraned (and had people logging on especially) for something I had already planned.

If you want to take on ZM8 rare let me know and I'll come help its far from and easy fight but with enough of Rargh on board there's little we can't do. It really is the last gate to sky as ZM12 is pretty limp by comparison.

Optical hats I'm going to start looking at soon, first job is to price buying the eyes. Then its the simple equasion of can I farm gil faster than I can farm them, basically if it take 120 mins to get an eye I reckon I can farm 150k hence worth buying if they're that much or less.

About CoP I think its only fair I drop out of the group, I don't see myself getting round to doing it and don't want to hold up anyone else.

I just don't think I have the motivation to continue with the game anymore but at the same time don't want to call it a day, so for now its best I don't be part of anything where im needed.

Sounds like time for a recharge mate, shame to see you bow out for a while and I hope it won't be too long before you're back! You just know you won't be able to resist the new expansion and its challenges, supposed to be loads of end game content in it and of course it'll be on 360 as well...

In the interim we need to look at CoP, I know Meric is on the 3-5 mission as well and has a chip. I'd like to move together on this one as a group if we can. We ought to propose a time and day for it so we can work towards it we're normally pretty good once we get going at something.

I know this isn?t the first time you?ve felt like this Wedge and you?ve always come through it but there is no doubt that you have to take breaks when you need to. I do find it unfortunate that you seemed to find your calling in the BST job only to have it cruelly ripped away from what attracted you to it in the first place by changes which were clearly made in haste and unlikely to be improved upon by an seemingly increasingly arrogant S-E.

Now, isn?t really a massively interesting time in game anyway Wedge so you wouldn?t be missing much to go absent for a bit. We have an update soon and so far the 2 announcements made so far have been a few new guild recipes and the fact that Enchanted Items will now have the Number of Uses colour coded.

I can hardly contain my excitement.

Times are slack I guess with the major focus going on to ToAU.

Still, I?ve always had the feeling you?ve wanted to level a pure damage-dealing job and I know you even took up DRK to some extent. Maybe you should give some thought to taking up the Great Sword once again.

BCNM 20 lost, 1.5 million down the pan, crap.

Well last night was so so, started off well and got a set of quests done. Was slowed down a bit as I didn't realise some prerequisites weren't done but that wasn't too bad as the BC run was delayed till 8.

The BC run however did not go to plan with us taking a pounding the like of which I've never seen in there. So chalk up loss number 2 on this BC and it looks like I'm farming my Hakutaku eyes again having lost the extra gil I was counting on to get it. Really painful having farmed up seals over the course of the last 3 weeks to make the extra run to make the hat easier

Will look at what other options are around, gutted just gutted.

Seems bad luck affects most of us at the same time. Spent some time last night trying for the Extra-Fine File but it still eludes me. I did manage to use up last week?s Tactics Pearl and my NPC hit lvl53 but whereas my levelling spot blessed me with 75k worth of drops on Sunday, last night I barely hit 20k

pfft please, I?ve been are far worse bcnm runs and Its nearly impossible to get every run right, besides it only 20 seals which is nothing. I've taken pounding worse in there, when wedge/rare and i did them over year ago as nin,drk,mnk combo we got wasted every time, also the LS first couple of Bcnm60 where disastrous, I think I lost 180 seals in bad runs until we got it down to tee on the Anticon one, and the recent Fomor bcnm60 wasn?t a great success, but was thrilling get 2 out 5 wins(and still rake in 4m a lot for that time).

Yeah I know I've blown 150 trying to work out the BCNM 50s but this is one we know exactly how to do (Wedge did all the research and spent the seals all we have to do is apply it). Its just execute as per plan and collect drop, thats the frustrating thing, its known exactly to the inch what is need to win this...

NIN/WAR + RDM/NIN x 2
NIN goes for max evasion + Mokotuko +1 help for silence effct or fire swords for damage
RDM goes for max evasion + fastest weapons avaailble (platoon dagger + beestinger)
3 crabs - Metal Crab (15 hp) x 2 Heavy Metal Crab (25 hp)
All hits do 1 or 0 damage
Generally enthunder causes the damage not the strikes
On entry buff, ensure utsusemi, enthunder and aquaveil are up
Before engaging drink yagudo drinks and Au Laits
RDM 1 bind left crab
RDM 2 uses start of bind casting as cue to silence Centrre Crab
NIN vokes centre crab
NIN blinds centre crab
RDM x 2 beat right crab to death
Usually before NIN can engage but NIN engages if requried, if other crab comes unbound with first crab still engaged, rebind other crab and move away from bound crab.
RDM x 2 attack bound crab with Ninja asisting
NIN hold Heavy metal crab hate
Metal Crab 2 dies, eveyone engages heavy metal crab
RDM 1 casts dia & Poison
RDM 2 casts blind
NIN allows hate to drift and casts utsusemi
At 15 seconds on Utsusemi counteter NIN revokes
NIN recasts utsusemi after second shadow is lost
Before shadows from second utsusemi are lost Heavy Metal crab should be dead
If not NIN has blade retsu available for good paralyze
Wash rinse repeat till it goes down
Through cast cure when needed and ensure Heavy metal crab is silenced at all times. Nominated silencer does the job throughout the fight not just at the start.

That in a nut shell is it, very simple and structured. Key to bringing down the big crab is making sure the NIN has 6 shadows to use, the crab can't drain on shadows. Never fight on darksday, other than that the only real key is keep the sword moving cast as little as possible and let enthunder do the work.

Like I say just plain gutted, bad luck seems to beset me on this run. Almost had the first crab down then it regened and from there we never recovered.
