I'm pretty sure you can't, hence why Marcus had the same problems.

I own Doom N64. I did it just the other night to make sure I wasn't talking bobbins.

Honestly. You can map the joypad any way you like.

        God's Truth.

Okay I'm biased becuase it was the first version I [played.

            But it rocked anyway...even on a d-pad

It runs in a window as big as my brain.

This, and the fact that thanks to Big N, it is even more censored than the SNES version of Wolfenstein 3D (if that is even physically possible).

And to think EDGE (UKMag) reckons the Snes version of Doom is the best console version there is LOL.

Snes Doom is about on a par with the similarly wretched 32X bag of spanners (which I paid full price for).

                    Begone.

Aren't Edge being ironic? I can't tell anymore.

What about the (non-official) Dreamcast PC-port of Doom?

                      Is it any good?

It is very similar to the PC version

Can't remember if it supports the mouse or not, though. If it does, I guess you could consider it to be the best console version...

1 divided by half is 2. Aren't you supposed to be clever? Oh... now I get it.

I never liked Doom64 because I always totally loved the PC(Ps1/Sat/3do/jag/gba/toi) versions of the level designs... the 64 was like playing a bad rip off.

Much like the N64 version of Duke Nukem 3D.

Better than the Saturn version with its body-poppin' warping textures...
