I've probably missed something, but is there any difference between the MarkIII and Japanese Master System, bar the cart shapes?

Actually the cartridge shapes are the sameOnly the western cartridge shapes were different. The Mark III has no built in FM sound as standard. All it has is the ****ty beep beep beep sound chip that all western Master Systems have. To get FM sound on a Mark III you need to buy the FM pack. The Japanese Master System has the FM audio as standard plus a 3D Glasses port and rapid fire switch that the western system didn't have. If I remember rightly, the 3D glasses on the western master System plugged in to the card slot and the Rapid Fire button was a reset button. I'm now on the look out for some nice 3D glasses. I've still never seen them in action al these years later. I heard they are meant to be pretty good.

Picked up Aladdin (MD) Complete on Thursday
Just got a nice order from VGI which included
Seiken Desetsu 3 (SNES/SFC)
Darius Force (SNES/SCF)
Sega Ages Disney Collection (Saturn)
Fatal Fury, Last Blade, King of Fighers R1, Puzzle Bobble Mini & The Match up of the Millennium (NGPC)
In a way retro, Japanese versions of the Sonic Gems & Mega Collection for all those games they took out of the UK and US versions. Just a shame there no where near a good as Sonic Jam or the original versions.
