Such as what? I haven't been paying much attention. I may sell large swathes of my collection if this is actually the case.

Such was the sorry state of Sega back then
There is actually 2 early versions that came out that i know of.

The other one has a picture of people high up in sega all eating Dinner at a dinner table.

I had a choice of both when i bought mine but i went for the "president" photo. It looks quite cool as if hes unaware that hes just got snapped on camera. The dinner bash one looked good to though.-- hard choice

The only titles I've noticed that seem to be holding any value is a few shooters Ikaruga, Zero Gunner 2, Mars Matrix, Trizeal's getting pretty pricey as well now, most 2D fighters that I paid ?20+ for a few years ago only seem to be fetching ?10-?15 now though

I believe there is one with multiple pics of the same fella on the box - actually I know as my local Recycle shop has that one for sale.

D.C games tend to be more expensive, in general, here in Japan than over in the U.K at the mo. Even the bog standard games are getting pretty pricy. I've noticed a massive leap in Ikarua's value - I bought mine for £13 brand new sealed a few years ago, and my local import store had sealed copies for £28 - now it seems you'd be lucky to get a sealed copy for udner £50.

Basically from a few years ago most games prices seem to have increased by around 25% or more it seems.

The console it self seems to be getting rarer too, although like someone said it's bound to be a phase, but not one i wanna risk.:P

Probably due to Retro shops decreasing their DC shelf space to make way for 'new' retro like GC, Xbox etc.

It still has them same "president" pictures on the side of the box though.

It seems to be the shooters mainly. Ikrauga, Mars Matrix, Border Down, Zero Gunner 2, Gigawing 2...they've been creeping up in value over the past year or so.

I'm gutted cos I sold stuff like Gigawing 2 for peanuts a while back.

I have a sealed Trizeal, does that mean it's appreciated in value?

Gigawing 2 probably my favourite shooter on the Dreamcast, managed to get a complete one for £14 off ebay a few months back after trying for ages to get one at a decent price, didn't even seem as though anyone was interested in bidding on it either as there was only one other bid.

One went for about £50 a few weeks ago on ebay if I remember correctly, wasn't even the Sega Direct one either

                          Just won this on ebay

Wanted a Multimega ever since I was a kid, I can even remember how the poster advertising it in the shops looked like. Chuffed to bits, although I don't know if I paid through the nose or not for it.

I sold a complete but minus any hardware box for Multimega for £50 on ebay once if thats anything to go by.

Trade in value at GS for one of them is £70 on it's own for an indication and thats without games sooo if you don't like which I'm sure you wont be take it there and get your money back lol

Cool! More than I thought! Can't believe someone paid £50 just for the box, although there is only one boxed complete Multimega on eBay at the moment, and it's going for around the £255 mark! (Im guessing that although they are rare complete, this guy must be having a laugh?).

I've not used eBay long and ended up in a bidding war with someone, got the last bid in with 7 seconds to go!

Can't wait for it to turn up
