This was what the batteries were for, thanks to MiG for providing me with it. It's in great shape screen wise. The sound capacitors had also been swapped whilst it was in MiG's care, choaticjelly did the fix and boy does it go loud.
Magical all right!

Very nice NeoStuey!!
Out of curiosity, I've got a US Turbo Express at home that basically doesn't do anything anymore when I switch it on. It used to display games ok, but never had sound, even though it was supposed to be new when I got it.
How easy/hard is it going to be to fix .... I've no real soldering skills
Also, I got these today:

I too fixed both my PCE GT and TG16 Express with these mods expecting a slight increase!
Im glad I didnt hold the unit close to my ear while testing as they really do go quite loud once fixed!!

@Lord Of Swede
Crisis Force looks great just watched the first level on Youtube, the building deformation effect is really good especially considering the platform it's running on.
Those boxes are mint too, really nice to see.
Also chaoticjelly has brought seemingly dead screens back to life on GTs in the past. I believe that it's been narrowed down to a single capacitor that would need replacing. It would be worth while chatting to him about the fix.Last edited by NeoStuey; 23-09-2008, 19:28.

Cheers for the GT advice, I will ask chaoticjelly. Would be a shame to get rid of it if there is a possible fix!
