You might want to check out the other pad (Stealth I think, looks like an N64 pad) as I found that one to be better in general (although I used the D-pad more for T3K). Nice buy there, how much did you pay? It's been a while since prices were down in the $50 area that I paid for my N501...

I might give one of those a try if I see one at a decent price ... but like you I tend to use the d-pad for Tempest anyway.

Can't quite match the price you paid

I paid £120 (plus around £30 for postage from the states) for this one but it is like new and 100% complete ... and it also came with a brand new controller and 3 games.

The seller also had an unboxed Toshiba Nuon (I've owned the same model myself) for sale for £45 with a new controller but the N501 package had me won over as soon as I saw it ... way too nice to miss out on.

Went to a video store today and picked up a bunch of ex-rental PS1 and Sega games.

Considering they're ex-rental, they are in very good condition, the booklets and carts are all in excellent unmarked condition.

The Sega and Playstation 1 games cost me $60 in total.

All the Neo kit i've picked up so far has been through nice trades, or come from the sales of retro kit i had spare doing nothing. So in my mind i've technically not paid for anything yet, or thats what i'm telling myself anyway......................................
