That Ecco set is awesome. Picked up an almost full set of Official UK dreamcast magazines from Ebay the other day, just need issue 12 to complete it (if anyone has it). Shame it's gonna cost a fortune to ship here so for now gonna leave it at my parents.

Birthday haulings from my dad and siblings. I had Insector Hecti back in 91, but it broke shortly after and I became obsessed with playing it again (it's probably gonna be crap). Never did find another copy though, so it's been about 20 years. This might have been down to me searching for "Inspector Hecti" the whole time by mistake.

I won a Competition Pro joystick on ebay, but it won't be here for a while My stack of Dizzy games should tide me over though

Thanks Ad, (it's today ). You don't know anything about the C64 do you? I'm having some trouble loading the Dizzy games. I've got some "out of memory error" messages, and sometimes "Found" and a bunch of scrambled letters. Other times it finds the game, starts loading it, then just comes up with an empty screen with "READY" and doesn't continue loading. Interchange loaded up though, so I don't think it's the tape player or the C64. Are these tapes just knackered do you reckon?

Nah, your tape deck needs a clean and alignment... get yourself one of the alignment tapes by Interceptor and you should be set. You will also need a Phillips size 1 crosshead screwdriver if it isn't provided in the package. When it comes to the C64, then you aren't going to go too far wrong asking me things, had the computer for more than 25 years

Whereabouts can I get hold of the Interceptor tape, Mayhem? I will be a happy man if I can get these tapes to work. I have been away from the C64 scene for way too long. Lots of the tapes seem very hard to find though. There aren't any copies of Commando on ebay, and I thought that was one of the most popular games of the time. Some riblonkulous prices on there too. I used to pick up stacks of C64 and Spectrum games from carboots for 10p in the mid 90s.

I really did get it at a steal. At least i think so don't know what they usually bring but i'm thinking Spence was taking a nap when this one ended
