I remember a girl in my class at primary school had a TI-99. Only one i've seen, ever. I'm sure you could only buy them from Tandy or something? I wouldn't imagine they were worth much.

I kind of want to buy something retro, but something i've never had before and could still get some entertainment out of gameplay wise, as well as enjoying hunting stuff down. I think i've pretty much done most systems over the years though. Must. Resist.

Shamefully, I went right on ebay after seeing that X68000 looking for one last night. (Yes, retro resistance is breaking down!) Couldn't find a complete one though, or for that matter, one that didn't seem to have a fault. Tempted. Very, very tempted.

Was looking through some of the conversions last night, lot of awesome games for this system. Do either of you have the castlevania title?

It's on PSX as Castlevania Chronicles, probably better on there as it even includes midi/non midi soundtracks iirc and a remixed mode, though the box isn't anywhere near as nice.

I think it's the attraction of a system i've never owned before that has my interest. But having just had a look at the prices some of the games are fetching (Or what sellers are asking for them) my interest just stood up, walked to the door and left.
