I adore Gynoug, however it's pronounced. I'm gonna stick to g-noog.
It has incredible music like the rest the ncs-masaya megadrive games. I find it odd that this along with other more odd shooters got a western release while the sumptuous yet more broadly appealing Gleylancer got ignored. It's a shame, it would have sold very well.

It was the interesting sounding bit that caught me - and the Indiana Jones rip look
I started off looking for a nice little something to stick in my GB micro, I wanted something with retro simplicity as a parallel to playing Fable 3 at the moment.
Tower is the simplest of simple. Fake Indiana Jones dude runs constantly, turns around at the screen boundaries, and jumps when you press a. Holding a = jumping higher. Fall off the bottom of the upward scrolling screen and die. It's actually kinda hard...
Shaft is all about left and right. The screen scrolls down and you have to run off the edges of platforms and land on new ones. Game over when the spikes at the top get you, or you leap down and don't land on a platform. I'm preferring this. It has that Mr. Driller-esque panic to it as you look frantically for the next platform (rather than air canister) though it's not Mr D good. Maybe I should have bought Mr. Driller for GBA...
Twisted! doesn't really work too well in the GBMicro due to the offset cart slot, and mega large cart, or i'm looking for an excuse to buy an AGS-101 again...
