It is pretty cool. Surprisingly the same as the western releases, but the Japanese text looks so much better.

Been gradually picking things up over the last couple of weeks. Been replacing bits I'd previously sold and getting stuff that I wanted to try mods out on also. Picked up from here or eBay mainly.

First of a couple of DCs, now running Link83's region free dev BIOS, VGA box modified with selectable ScanLines

Picked up another N64, Hong Kong this time, RGB modified now :-) SFC F-Zero which I've never played before!

Few games, some purchased individually, others bundled with consoles.

I've got a thing for Official RGB cables, thought I'd never get the PlayStation one again after selling mine a few years back :-)

Enjoying retro gaming again at the moment, I think by the time I get around to playing the pile of 360 and ps3 games i've got, they'll be classed as retro ;-)

If you don't mind, where was that VGA box purchased from or is that a self mod job?

It was a standard box from a trade on here, and then I modified it myself - http://www.mmmonkey.co.uk/console/sega/dcslg.htm

Parts are quite cheap though, just a couple of quid ;-)

Thanks, I completely forgot about the slg3000 as I had no need for one. Now I think I need one.

I didn't use the slg3000 though, just built my own and added it internally to the DC box - http://www.mmmonkey.co.uk/console/ot...-scanlines.htm

(actually, it's not clear from my first link what I had done, I'll alter that!)

Brilliant stuff Hellbelly. I would love an RGB N64.

I like the tips for cutting perfect holes (dsub/de15 ),by using templates .The screw tips,i always put the buggers straight back in the holes they came from.So there's no chance of me losing them or putting the wrong length screw in a short hole.

The last two pictures are just a white space .

For quickness,i'm just going to put the DIY slg in a pattress box ,add a switch and use a dual vga wall plate to complete the thing. Then the user just has to buy a vga cable and that's that
                        SIMPLES ???????
