Imagine paying ?40 for it. The word 'gutted' would be an understatement.

I haven't played it for ages - but.. the memories of how poor it is, are still strong.

It has a very bad reputation. In fact.. it's a joke game; one that people cite as an example of gaming at its worst.

Capcom's Aliens vs Predator is excellent. My favourite Alien game, though, is the Konami arcade version.

I remember Alien3 being good on the snes; with great visuals. A mate of mine had it - and I watched him complete it.

I can't remember if the MD version was any good? ... I have vague memories of it being nice - and getting good reviews.

Yeh the MD one is very good for it's time too, just overshadowed by the SNES effort.

Bought a load of Satakore budget released Saturn games today to help my complete Saturn collection grow. I think I must have about 80% of the Satakore releases now.

I also got about 10 Saturn sample discs which these 3 from the set I'm keeping while I'll sell the rest on my store. The ones I'm keeping are Panzer Dragoon Azel, Burning Rangers and Mr. Bones. The ones I'm selling include a factory sealed Grandia Prelude and Silhouette Mirage.

Wasn't that AvP game featured as "****e of the month" on RetroCore, Yakumo?

Yeah, that is bad news but with the average price at 250 yen each I thought it would be really stupid to pass on them. I was just lucky enough that the shop they were bought from was getting rid of all of their budget stock.

There are a few sellers on Yahoo who do sell spine cards but I despise these people. What they do is sell the game then try and sell you the spine card later on for more money. I've never seen any shops selling them though.

Yep... Yakumo knows what a bad game is.

AVP is a pretty terrible game, very dull and repetitive.

But I am just wondering how people from the UK came accross it? If I recall, it had an english release in Australia, and a non English release in Europe. Was it even released in the UK?

This is all the stuff I got yesterday.

I paid about $50 for the games, including a complete Kirby Fun Pak which suprised me.

I needed a new camera because the one I had on "loan" was taken back by the owner because they needed it or something.

So I picked this one up second hand on the cheap (Casio EX-P700). The store manager claimed it had a faulty flash, so I only paid $70 for it, including carry case and charger. In the end though, they just had it on the incorrect settings. So it works fine

You're right to take them anyway.

About the "spine cards alone" thing,i bought on Yahoo some "400 spine cards bundles",it was useful to complete missing spine card games on my fullset.
But i now have around 1000 spine cards extra!

Buying those games on Yahoo would cost 5 times more minimum, with shipping fees, bank fees, deputy fees..

It's so easier&cheaper to get japanese games like that being in Japan than Europe,i must admit

Yes, sometimes I can find really great deals but it does take an awful lot of work and time Still the reward is good when I find something like Saturn Castlevania for 800 yen. Only happens once every few months mind you.

                        $60 bucks, all complete.
The Boxed Jetsons was actually not in that lot, but that lot which had those other games had a spare Jetsons manual, which made my boxed one complete.

AVP & BoF2 are two Australia only games they weren't released in the UK, but quite a few people did import them I believe.

AVP had a euro release, but as you say, not in the UK.
My version came from Spain IIRC.

The Jetsons game can be quite difficult to find complete, but a cart only is pretty easy to get a hold of.

The game itself is... meh. Its a little jerky, and there are TONS of cheap hits which are very hard to avoid. Standard platform affair, although you get a few gadgets to help you. Controls are a tad unresponsive.
5.5/10 maybe 6/10 if you can really get into it.
