My latest acquisitions:



Cost me £5, £5 and £15 respectively. That might seem like a bargain but the seller wouldn't give a multiple discount on airmail so I figured f*ck it, might as well pay a couple of quid extra for EMS delivery (he was willing to discount this) and get the stuff sooner rather than later. My bad. Parcelforce kindly stung me with £6 VAT - not sure how 15% of £25 works out to be £6 but there you go - and, this is the killer, £13.50 charge for collecting the VAT!! So in the end I paid £35 in total for delivery and VAT on £25 worth of goods

Horrible when you get stung like that, happened to me a couple of times when importing from Japan, when you get that dreaded letter through door saying we are holding your Parcel and you need to pay a amount to collect, it feels like a punch in the face.

My unboxed DUO sailed straight through customs despite the full value being on show in GBP on the shipping label so I'm well pleased.

Not quite on the same level as the mighty briefcase but very nice non the less, a few light surface marks is all really.

You may yet get a bill through the post. I got a Wii two years ago through DHL with no indication it had been hit by customs and the bill came at the end of the month. Just warning you so your hopes are not dashed.
