Maybe I'm misremembering. It was a long time ago.
You had to do something like that then when entering your name on the scoreboard you had to write something in, think it was "realdemo" which unlocked the Japanese versions intro.

      According to Gamefaqs:
On the mode select screen, choose Option. On the Option screen, choose Game Settings and go to Others. Now change your Age to any number higher than 21. Now go back to the mode select screen and pick Survival Mode. Play through this mode until you get onto the top ten ranking list and put your name in as REALDEMO. Now go back to the title screen and wait until the demo starts. You will now see the uncut demo with more scenes.
      That does ring a bell...

Did it ring any other bells?

This weeks arrival ends a 5 year hunt for me!

While studying at Leeds Art College, I found this gem of a book in the library there. A Jap import book on Sega's artwork from the late eighties and early nineties. I fell in love with it but didn't have the heart to loan it out and 'forget' I still had it...

So, after a long search on eBay every now and then and missing the occasional one... I finally snagged one for the low sum of £11.11

This one comes as an ex-library rental from Roundwood Park School (according to the library stamp), so if you went to this school, you were very lucky!

The Commodore 64 cost me $30, he threw in the rest of the stuff for $10.

The Super Nintendo (with cords) and games cost me $40 from the same seller with the C64.

the PS1 games were $5 each.

                Ren and Stimpy was $8.

                Halo Figure was $1.

Nice book Cauterize, I bet it was a great feeling finally getting hold of it.

Very nice indeed! Never seen that book before. I'd better add it to my wants list, although I'm guessing it'll take quite a while to hunt down!

She's like that on all Millenium editions, no matter the console. That's what I heard anyway.

The Dead or Alive 2 versions go like this.

Dead or Alive 2 - Naomi
Dead or Alive 2 - Western Dreamcast Version (same as Naomi)
Dead or Alive 2 Millenium - Naomi
Dead or Alve 2 - Japanese Dreamcast (same as Naomi Millenium)

So as you see, the arcade Millenium and japanese Dreamcast versions are the same game. The western Dreamcast versions of Dead or Alive 2 were released way before the Japanese game and the 2nd Naomi version. They are based upon the original Naomi release.

Just to show you what a hunk of junk the American SNES shell is:

The other one I bought I modified. When I was chiselling out the holes for the switches it was like putting a knife through butter. And bits started to chip off after simply screwing it together with the screws.

The one above has lost a couple of its screw holes and has lost all its corners and edges... I bought it from moonwhistle to repair. When I've got the time I hope to return it to its original colour with retr0bright.

More likely due to age perhaps? I took mine apart shortly after I got it (to make sure I'd removed the tabs properly) and it was fine...
