WonderMega makes a huge difference to the Mega CD audio, more so when you had the game dsp option on

Can you do the same for cart games, with the Wondermega audio? And is it only the MCD1 that has the different mixing options? The audio is kind of a huge feature for me if I was to ever buy one in the future. I knew people with MCDs as a kid, and could have bought them dirt cheap back then but I didn't investigate them (wasn't really bothered except for Final Fight at the time) and I never knew anyone with a Wondermega or Multimega. Edit- thanks for replying, too.

Yeah it works for any Cart or Mega CD game on the Wonder Mega CD and it does make a Big difference to the Audio when put through a decent amp .

BTW, It's the Mark one Mega Drive that you need to be able to turn up or down the FM volume on any Mark 1 or Mark 2 Mega's CD's (as long as you have the mixing cable) its a nice feature for games that use both the Mega Drive and Mega CD sound chips and where the FM can sound a bit too high/out of place like it Cobra Command or Road - Where you can tun down the FM volume with the Mega Drive headphone control

OK, thanks again, will try to remember that for future use. It's a shame the Wondermega costs quite a bit these days. Does the Wondermega 2 have the same audio options (it looks horrible to me)- if that's the right machine I'm thinking of. BTW- does the Megacd have the DSP options? Sorry for all the questions.

Don't be sorry . No idea with the WonderMega 2 sorry, I think it doesn't, but not sure. No the standard Mega Mark 1/2 or Multi Mega do not have the extra DSP sound options of the WonderMega

Finally stumped up the cash for Segagaga for the Dreamcast today. Picked it up for 2800 yen so not the cheapest Dreamcast game but not a bad price for this particular title. I think the only other semi expensive games I want now are Cosmic Smash and Radirgy.

Cheers lads, i'm chuffed to bits to complete the set!

Not that anyone but me would want anything FX related, but found a great seller who does brand new pads for ?12 inc shipping from Japan. Now I just need to find a cheap Chip Chan Kick for multiplayer frolics!

If nothing else, I love the stylings of FX merchandise.

Got a couple of psx games in a charity shop. Finally got a copy of R-Type Delta (for ?5, not too shabby) - I loved the demo as a kid, but for some reason I never got round to buying it until now. Got a cart of Wendy Every Witch Way for ?2 which I'm very happy with - it's a great VVVVVV gravity switching type game from the maker of Shantae.

Finally, I got a free Sentinel 64 protector case, which I'm displaying my copy of LttP in. Absolutely fantastic, highly recommended.
