Yakumo I know you prefer the saturn cause of its 2d goodness, but what do you think are the best ntsc ps1 titles? after all the ps1 had some pretty meaty 3d graphics for its time, ridge racer 4 was technically very pretty as was tekken 3 and gt2.... your thoughts?

I have pretty much no idea about PSX games to tell the truth. I know that Geppy Robot Shooting is very good (2D shooter based on an anime) and another one called Bakudan something or other by Enix. Importaku will know the real names of these games since I picked one of them up for him. Also stuff like Bishi Bashi is great fun even if it doesn't look that good.

Went down to Boscombe on Saturday - anyone who knows it will know that Christchurch Road has a wealth of second hand shops and a couple of decent games places.
Anyhow, picked up a boxed with instructions Genesis copy of Thunderforce III, which is, quite frankly, one of the most enjoyable shoot 'em ups I have played for a long while (?4.95).
Also got Dragon's Revenge (MD), for ?3.99 - oddly this is a PAL box with a Genesis cartridge - still, cracking game......
And finally went into a place called Cash City (bit like Crime, sorry, CASH Converters) where I got Marvel vs Capcom on DC (?4.99) and Capcom vs SNK 2 for PS2 (?7.99). Box is smashed on the DC game, and there are loads of horrible stickers on the PS2 game - but will replace/clean these......Comment
