No worries .. I just realised that I can get Darxide EMP on my mobile. For six quid. Am quite tempted .. especially as I got a 10% pay rise yesterday. Gotta spend it on something!

Mega CD beauties for only a penny each ^^

Never knew they even made a Volume 3 of the Genesis Legends thing - I'm seriously doubtful this ever made it to actual retail, found it heavily discounted at a Winners (discount store where retail offloads the stock they can't sell, bankruptcies etc - like TK or TJ or whatever Maxx ) - 'Super Sonic Gold'

Oh Tenkafubu, I think that was the 1st Mega CD game to use FMV and it was better Quality FMV than in most Mega CD that came out years latter .

GameArts were one of the few to make decent use of the Mega CD

Aye. The one you got was the '98 one, which is actually a rebadged version of Virgin's NHL Powerplay '98.
Virgin decided not to release the Saturn version, so Sega licenced it and stuck their own All-Star Hockey brand on there. It's actually nothing to do with the original NHL All-Star Hockey game Sega released in '96.

I've not played All-Star '98, but I have the original NHL Powerplay on the Saturn (apparently almost the game game as the sequel All-Star '98) and it's excellent stuff

I got an Ultra rare peice of Virtual Boy memorabilia off Yahoo auction's and it arrived today, it's a Marquee instruction set for a VB display Unit, and I was the first to open it, it came in this really nice Nintendo Virtual Boy envelope, which I will scan in later too. It's for Mario Clash and I'm going to set it up in the game's room in the way ity should be on the Virtual Boy table, and I think it will look pretty cool, when people come round, obviously I'll have Mario Clash in the machine too.(^_^)

Anyway's here's the link's to the bucket for the photo's:

Apparently there were only a handful of these made, as the amount of store's who carried the display's was minute, so I think I have landed a pretty rare peice of Nintendo history, as It's certainly something I have never seen before, and the bidding war for it was really intense.

My Celga Gold account was the saviour, being able to bid whenever I want on Yahoo auction's is a god send. Now I don't have to worry about Celga not getting my mail in time to bid, and I can also bid more than I was going to if I really want the item.

Some nice big picture's for you guy's too, so you can print out and build your own, all I ask is you give me the credit. Also no big watermark's like some people who are a bit sad do.

Superb Mofo, it's nice to see it go to a good home where it wont be stored away in the dark!

That's sweet. Given how much fliers/posters can fetch I imagine that was pretty intense indeed lol. Get in!

                      Thanks guy's!!(^_^)

I was dying to show it to you all, it's one of those thing's that only a fellow retro collector can appreciate.

As I say, I have never seen one before, but now I have one, I would love to know if they produced a handful of one's for any other title's. I would love to have one for Warioland and galactic Pinball, as they are the game's that I alway's play on my Virtual Boy and it would be nice to get a sort of little display going .

I am now going to try and track down a display Virtual Boy. I need a new Virtual Boy anyway's as my box for my old one is looking rather worse for wear. I am still puzzled as to why the Virtual Boy boxes are so difficult to keep in good condition.

My latest retro purchase, Super Puzzle Fighter for the Saturn all for the measly sum of ?3.50 delivered

No spine & fairly tatty instructions but I loved this back in the day & I couldnt pass it up...even if it might be coming to Live Arcade.

Found a random Dreamcast in my cupboard while I was cleaning it out a few days ago, so I decided to get some games for it. Got myself Soul Calibur and have a few others on the way (inc a new sealed copy of Shenmue 2)
