Haha, I forgot about the sticky notes all along the bottom of my TV when I was playing this on the N64.

Dragon coins in snes version do nothing if you get them all, only in the gba remake did they add collecting them as an extra. Only if your going for total OCD would it be worth getting them in the snes version.

It's good, stick with it. Just a little slower paced than Metroid but great once it gets going.

Importaku, yes you are correct about the SNES version but I got them all anyway.

To be honest, the game is so utterly amazing I didn't want to stop playing it. It must have taken me only a few hours to do the whole lot.

Beat Link to the Past on gba now. Having played it immediately after SMW, I've got to say I think LttP might actually be the shorter of the two, although that might be because I play through SMW levels many times each to 100% it. LttP is timeless though. What a fantastic world you're given to explore (twice!) with so much to explore and so many secrets to discover. I really should play it more often than I do (compared to other Zeldas).

On to Yoshi's Island next. I don't think I've ever bothered playing past the second world before, so it's one of the last 'core classics' for the SNES that I have left to experience for the first time.

Played Tekken Dark Resurrection for awhile last night. I've been making my through the bat-**** insane story mode which I'm finding pretty entertaining. Also been using the points you gain from fighting to change the costumes of my favourite fighters back to their classic Tekken 2/3 outfits.

I'll give it another go. Surprised it has a light rpg side - always assumed it was just a side scrolling hack n' slash only.

Only played through Yoshi's Island for the first time a few years back and thought it was superb. I think it just takes a little while to get going - and it's all worth it in the end for the epic boss fights!

The gba version of yoshis island is pretty awesome if you ever come across it, mainly as the added 1 new extra level for each world. Definately worth tracking down.

I had absolutely no idea. Guess what I want to play now?

The extra levels are unlocked by getting a perfect 100 score on each level in every world, not an easy task but totally worth it.

In the snes version it unlocked the ex levels but in the gba version it unlocks both the original ex level and the new extra bonus level. Its why i love the advance remakes because they all added new content on each game smb3 was the one that got the most but each had something new to do in them.

What did they add in Super Mario Bros 3? I've beat it a few times on the GBA and haven't really notice much change except for the added Super Mario soundbites.

I had no idea. I have Yoshi on SFC and GBA. Yet to fully play either.

In mario advance 4 (smb3) if you had the ereader you had acces to 32 brand new levels that combined stuff from al the various games into new custom levels. The new levels are serious fun plus you could use the cape feather from smw & boomerang, plus pick veggies from the ground & throw them at stuff. There are fun bits in some levels like been able to run on the ceiling & walls, plus theres the E coins to find in the ereader levels plus 3 minigame houses in the eworld map.

Obviously all this stuff was only in the Jpn & US versions if your unfortunate to own the european version they stripped it out or more exact they removed access to the menu.

Theres loads of vids on youtube of the ereader levels if you want to see what they were like.

SMB3 on the gba had it's own set of e-cards which unlocked new levels and stuff. I've got it, but I'd prefer to play it with original NES graphics. I don't like the Mario All Stars redraws.

                                EDIT: beaten to it
