There arent many shooters on the gba gradius advance is the best original shoot-em-up. Btw if theres 'no ports' in your top ten then zero mission (nes) and ff tatics (ps1) must go bye-bye.

Lol. what? Zero mission is a remake, not a port (although it does include a port of NES Metroid) and FF Tactics Advance could in no way be considered a port of the psone version or anything like that. Nice try Dan! But ok, I will slide Gradius in somewhere.
As for boxhead, I think I will switch Advance Wars for Advance Wars 1+2. Can we come to a consensus as to which is the better wario ware title?

I never played the PS1 tactics, but I was under the impression that the GBA version wasn't really a port, more of a loosley based on type affair. Please correct me if I'm wrong though.
As for only having one fighting game, I'd say Final Fight has to take it. For me at least it was a benchmark in that it was the best home version of Final Fight I'd played at the time, and I was amazed to be playing it on a pocket sized machine. I still play it to this day, even though I'v owned the Jap version from just after release.Last edited by Skull Commander; 23-01-2009, 13:04.

I think super mario world should be in there it is the definitive version for the inclusion of yoshi coin's in the boo house's and castle's. Same goes with yoshi island for having 6 extra levels
Stuff that i think should be on the list
klonoa 2
klonoa
kuru kuru kurin
kuru kuru paradise
polarium advance
denki blocks
Also I dont like rpg and there level up system's and for me that ruin's the castlevania game's .
Also has any one played Iridion 2 and is it any good .

Also any puzzle codes from the ds can be played on the gba

Yeahhhhh but the way it restricted you to playing one a day or whatever it was. Actually I was using the jap version which caters specifically for commuters (the colour scheme matches JR trains and the japanese title actually means Commuters Intuitive Stroke or something), so maybe it's different

So for me, a self-confessed MCD fanboy, the MCD version is the best home conversion, apart from of course the fabled X68000 version. Has anyone actually got an X68000?

The GBC version is good - but very difficult. The GBA edition is a much more solid experience. The gameplay is more easy going and satisfying. Plus.. the visuals & sound are fantastic. It's such an excellent experience.
I think the GBA version is pretty rare in Britain. I managed to buy the 'cartridge only' .. for around £8.
It's a must-have - for the right price.
