lol. I think that's fair, since SNES ports are almost identical to their originals, whereas remakes of NES games are completely new experiences. In fact NES ports are blocked, that's why there are no Famicom Mini/NES Classics on the list. But remakes are allowed.

Right, sorry Charlieboy, I think I'm gonna knock Guru Logic Champ off

Also gonna change Wario Ware to Twisted.

Eh? Fusion isn't a remake of anything it's a sequel to Super Metroid.

The best handheld game ive ever played and none of the sequels bettered the original. Other developers please take note, handheld games shouldn't try to ape the longwinded bore fests available on consoles: handheld stuff should distinguish itself by being short, sharp, challenging, addictive, visceral and with no story lines or stupid dialogue to shovel through. Nintendo really nailed it with this one.

Totally agree with this sentiment. This is especially true of mobile games; who the hell thinks anyone wants to play KoF or FIFA on a mobile. I want something that actually works on the format not a mindless port of the latest console game.

Pinball of the Dead is pretty good. I'm not too sure if it's top ten material, but I love it all the same.

As for onimusha tactics, I have that as well, but feel that it doesn't quite have the depth that Final Fantasy tactics has. FF tactics has a lot of job branching and scope for customisation, while I remember onimusha tactics being a bit more rigid. It is still a great game, but for me no where near the brilliance of FF.

Also I would argue that although Fire Emblem is a good game it's more or less just advance wars with swords, so only one can go in the top ten, and for me Advance Wars has more replayability.

if you refer back to post 70 i actually asked the question as i didnt know, but arctic feather answered it for me

lists are always subjective and need debate to see what qualifies, personally think your top 10 isnt right and i hope the order changes as Gradius certainly isnt the best evar!!!!!!!!!! GBA game

It's an excellent game. Technically, it's one of the most impressive. I've played it a fair bit - and always enjoy coming back to it.

The original GBA F-Zero is pretty good. I'd put it in my Top10 - simply because I love the series. It's not as good as the SNES edition - or great, but.. it's a nice racer for the machine.
