Yep, that is the same Ryu image for sure but with less detail in the shading. Deffinatly a copy of that image at the very least. By the way, fantastic Neo buys. Quite a fan of good old Top Hunter.

It's from a guy in China who's modding them himself. You can buy a kit to mod one, or he does pre-modded units.

Nice books. I have the All About books and the regular Capcom Design Works one but never even knew of the existence of the Early Days one. Did it cost you much?

It's quite a bit rarer than the original but lacks the amount of content of the first one. Still, it features a lot of the more obscure pieces.

As for price, you can probably get a copy for around 2,000 -3,000 yen (around 20 quid at current rate).

P.S Arctic, that GBA looks sweet, very tempting but how's the battery life?

From what I've heard it's still pretty good, but haven't recevied it yet to test it for myself. I'll report back once I get it.

I'm really liking this; the version of Panel de Pon is particularly excellent. Not to mention you can download a version of all three games to a GBA for some portable puzzling!



A V-Saturn I bought off neoboy. No games at the mo, because first I'll need to sort out getting an RGB cable that works with a JP Saturn (cheapest on ebay is ?15) and a voltage converter for the power cable. If anyone knows a voltage converter that works that'd be nice - I'm a bit wary about getting an off-brand one from Amazon and then frying my Saturn due to a poor product.

I'm a little wary about that site selling scart cables though - it claims that the cables will work with "all model saturns including imports" and I'd always been told that when it comes to Saturns, scart cables are for essentially region locked (something to do with voltage or pins, idk).

Yeah I also have a 300w mega beast that I used with my Jpn 360 before I changed to a UK PSU for it.

I hadn't actually realised that with the Saturn.
I used to have a modded PAL unit that was happy with any Scart I threw at it but when I got my Jpn Unit I just asked CJ to make me up a new one with Audio outs & didn't look back really so never thought there would be issues.

I'm not sure if I still have any spares but I'll look next time I'm up the Storage unit if you like?

Seconded, i've bought RGB scart cables from Rob for Jpn Saturn, DC, MD, SFC and all have worked great

He has been running that site and selling them for years
