I'll be going in with low expectations I'd like to finish it this time though!

Where did you get the castlevania from? It looks in pristine condition!

Actually, the outer box came from a bunch of flat packed JP GB boxes I bought (a pretty good find but the similar Apple II 1980-83 set I got last year easily, easily trumps it) and I've just bought an inexpensive cart and manual separately.
I've also got one for DDII/BR as well but no game yet.

          One more package arrived today.

Had heard great things about this one but had never played it so decided I should finally get a copy & I won it quite cheaply which was nice.

Box is a little squashed but other than that it's pretty tidy.

Just need to pop some batteries in the GBA when I get home from work & get it fired up, can't wait to see if it's as good & as hard as I've heard.

Nintendo Puzzle Collection is brilliant, and nice going getting the GBA Cable bundle. the version of Panel de Pon alone is worth the money IMO.

Radirgy I got on Milestone Shooting Collection 2 on Wii and I didn't get on with it well, but let me know what you think if you get round to playing it. In any case, nice additions to the collection. Am I right in thinking you're going for the full JP library?

Yes, trying to collect all the games released (not demo discs or various versions/bundles) in Japan. I'm missing 75 games now, if my list is correct. Of the ones I got left, I think Zelda Collection and maybe the Homeland beta will be most difficult to find, at an ok price at least.

Homeland test disk is not too hard to find but it is a bit pricy nowdays, theres a pretty good condition one on ebay right now

Zelda collection is stupidly priced thanks to obsessive zelda fans, on ebay it's the worst. Rarely seen for less than ?100 on yahoo auctions it's usually around the ?50-70 mark. A nice thing to have but not at those ebay prices.

Ironically enough, this is one of the games of which I keptt the box (thanks for your post clearing up that there was no offence caused).

It's a brilliant and beautiful looking game.

Got a mint JPN Yoshi Story N64 from GenkiVideoGames yesterday.

Brother-in-law gave me a PS2 console today. SCPH-39003. Needs some TLC but seems okay.

SCPH-39003 are easy to mod and just before the machines get bad (SCPH-50000).

                              Tru dat.

                              What's the best mod for the PS2. SCPH-39003 v7.

Well, I installed a Ghost 2 v2 in one of mine and it wasn't perfect, certain PS1 games didn't trigger the 50/60Hz video detection.

Matrix Infinity would be the best probably. Guy on ASSEMbler sells those for ?15 before postage. Well worth it though for a high quality modchip.
