I'm guessing Clarice is the in-house shop for the publisher City Connection, purely because it was the name of the girl who drives the car in the game City Connection (must be the most worthless bit of gaming trivia I know off the top of my head). Never heard of Asakusa March or Game Shop 1983 though.

Apparently as well, Retro-Bit are publishing the game for North America and including that soundtrack mini-CD, but I'd rather not buy from them given the recent controversy about them with the newly-commissioned "borrowed" fan translations.

Weird, I'd never heard of City Connection until yesterday when it was compared with CarVup on the Amigos podcast and here it is again!

Just noticed this, my Famicom solution was to use an old third-party pad in the front port with a controller cable extension designed for the Neo-Geo AES. You can't use an AES pad directly as the pinout functions are different, but the plugs are the same shape so extensions are fine. Hudson Joycard or Sansui SSS are good ones, feel a bit better in the hand too than the standard Famicom built-in ones.

I did the very same got a Neo extension and Hori Commander black which is a great pad. Famicom disk was a disaster tho sent it back in the end!

Got my back ordered memcard pro GC (above). Works a charm. 🥰

Got one of these little beauties from Ali Express. Not only does it auto switch scart (USB power) but it has a super useful aspect ratio (4:3 switch), so my remote is no longer needed every time I boot PS1! 👍🏻

Some good gets there. Warioland Shake It was pretty cool. Although honestly a bit more shaking than I would necessarily like if I recall. Still I don't know what I was expecting, really...

Have you played the Wii 'Trauma' games? The first one, Second Opinion, is just a remake of the Under The Knife DS game you have there, but the second and third are pretty cool original games for the Wii. I remember Trauma Team for Wii, the final game in the series, has a pretty fun lil manga story about an emerging pandemic. Kind of prescient now that I think about it...

                            Too much shake! 😂

No, never played a Trauma Centre game before, but remember them getting good reviews BITD. Maybe I’ll check them out!

I must say that I am interested in your SCART switch. I wonder if anyone has tested these thoroughly to confirm that they sound electrically?

You mean like high quality shielding and the like maybe?

I was trying to work out incidentally if I have shielded cables. I think the answer is no but ignorance is bliss.
