I don't think the bomb sunk the island. Well, it wouldn't, would it? It would just trash it and, as we plainly saw, dharmaville and the statue foot were still very much intact. The bomb sent them back to 2007 and maybe did something to cause the flash-sideways.Comment

Or the island was sucked under the ocean by the weird electromagnetic energy under the hatch. After all, it was sucking everything around the hatch down into the ground while all the energy was "building up" before Juliet hits the bomb. Maybe once it reached critical mass the energy released was enough to pull the whole island down.
There are so many crazy ideas you can come with for this, it's great

I know that Flashforward, which is by the same Network (ABC), showed an Oceanic Airlines poster in an early episode. A friend e-mailed me today saying he had heard a rumour that the entirety of Lost happens during the two minute Flashforward! I'd be very surprised and disappointed if that is the case.
Keep the theories coming though - I love reading them all!

Black Rock was probably sucked into the center of the island by a magnetic Incident like the one which caused the plane crash. Remember, there are no accidents, everything is Jacob's doing; he wanted them on the island, maybe to keep them, he trashed the boat. I imagine we'll get an answer, even only in passing, sometime this season
