Yeah, that's the stuff I meant. Shame we don't get to hear him say the same lines to compare.

Grindhouse blu-ray arrived and even though its lovely to have the full feature available in the UK, its not even a patch on the Japanese dvd release

      but decent nevertheless

The Rambo-in-space genre is pretty small though...

My collector's edition of Professor Layton arrived this morning. Thought you guys might like to know that it has English & Japanese Audio. 2.0 and 5.1 DTS, i don't know if its HD or not though as the box has no mention of it, not even a mention of 5.1.

Mine has just been delivered thanks to Amazon Prime which I keep signing up to free of charge.

It's nice to see that they've stuck with the silver banded Optimum packaging that the DVDs were sold in. Like the DVD this has a spine number of 1 so if they release them all in the original order then this is the way we'll get them.
                    1. Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind
                    2. The Cat Returns
                    3. Porco Rosso
                    4. Pom Poko
                    5. Kiki's Delivery Service
                    6. Laputa: Castle in The Sky
                    7. Howl's Moving Castle
                    8. Princess Mononoke
                    9. My Neighbour Totoro
                    10. Grave of the Fireflies
                    11. Whisper of the Heart
                    12. My Neighbours the Yamadas
                    13. Spirited Away
                    14. Only Yesterday
                    15. Tales from Earthsea
                    16. Little Norse Prince
                    17. Castle of Cagliostro

Having said that, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind was their first full film so they may release them in chronological order which means that Laputa: Castle in The Sky would be next.

That will help pass the time hopefully, sounds good.

A bit of advice for people thinking of importing one of the Apocalypse Now blu-rays, some people who have bought the Canadian version are having problems with theirs.

It's distributed by Maple Pictures in Canada and they've started recalling them.

If you've bought the Canadian release and you're having issues with it you can email them for details although I'm not sure what they'll do for people outside of Canada. [email protected]

Battle Royale out at the end of November in a limited, 5000 pressing 3 x disc edition!

Totally ordered - my favourite foreign language film of all time.

Dollhouse continues to impress. Dushku looks great but Olivia Williams (de Witt) is a Fox!!

Thanks for the info John, I assume Movietyme would ship the US release? They're who I usually order from.
