Picked up Sweeney Todd for ?9 and Sarah Connor Chronicles for ?8 in HMV yesterday. They've got loads of other stuff for cheap too but most of it region locked damn for having a Jap PS3.

Game had a huge 2 for ?20 on preowned Blu-ray including stuff like X-Files, Gone in 60 Seconds and Dodgeball. Talking to the chap in there he said moat of it is new being sold as used but its a trial so could stop at any time. Picked up The Empress an the Warriors which is a Chinese action movie with Donnie Yen. Looks pretty cool.

Day off tomorrow so I might watch some of my recent purchases!

It's my birthday next Thursday and I've got a feeling I'm getting a few more discs then too.

I have the Blu-Ray version and it is quality, looks stunning in HD. The UK one that I have does not have German audio track though.

Does anybody know if the UK I, Robot will work in a Jap PS3?

I ask as the box for the film says region B but a couple of sources on the 'net say it's region free but I don't know how trustworthy they are.

            Thanks.

                        Oh

It looks like it would never have looked amazing, but now it looks not amazing and plastic.

Holy crap, that one of Sulu on the bridge with his crew is horrific. And these always look worse in motion. Why? Why do they keep doing this? The DVD comparison shots aren't good either but surely a good film transfer to HD should look much better than those shots. Lunacy. And on Star Trek too, that makes it so much worse.

                          Thanks for the heads-up.

That's awful really, especially when compared with what they've managed to achieve with the First Series set on blu-ray. They've managed to keep it looking like film and I've not yet seen a scratch or speck of dirt in the 3 episodes that I've watched.
