The special edition interviews are great. Apparently Verhoeven didn't realise that 'bitches' was an insult, after filming the scene he was all, 'Thank you, bitches'.

The ITV censored version was hilarious, like other films they did. Instead of 'F#@K ME' over and over, the armed robber shouts 'WHY ME WHY ME', it's really bad.

That was the version I was subjected to for years! Glad it wasn't just me who witnessed the "WHY ME" angry man haha.

I was scared by the woman getting sucked into the supercomputer and turned into a cyborg in Superman 3!

Used to sneak out of bed and sit 3/4 up the stairs, best seats in the house!

Robocop is the ultimate kids film. I had it on repeat from the moment it hit VHS.

One of the best things my mum has brought home, I still remember watching it for the first time.

Edit: I really can't see how this film is going to succeed. Weller's Robocop is iconic, and it's inevitable that Kinnaman's version is going to suffer some form of redesign that further removes it from the original. I can't see how it could be improved upon, really.

I'd say a fair bit worse than the films but a little bit better than the TV series. There's some okay stuff in there but they're nothing great.

With this new one, I'd be kind of glad for it to be completely removed from the original as long as the character design doesn't stray too much. It would never match the satirical edge the original has so a different slant would probably be the only worthwhile way of doing it anyway.

I always remembered finding Robocop 2 to be fairly meh but still being fixated on the situation that dogged Robocop 3 before its release. It sucks... but then it has Robocop with a jetpack

In my defense it was released 3 years before I was born

Can't believe how the guy on the first level of Super Smash TV pretty much rips all of the catch phrases from this. "I'd buy that for a dollar" I already knew about but just now one of the punks just fired that huge Cobra gun thing and said "Iiiiii like it!" which is virtually the same as the smash TV guys "Iiiiii LOVE it!".

Also I'd like to publicly announce my appreciation to Soundwave for lending me Robocop in the first place!
