Not in term of content but its got a more dark, serious and grittier tone than SW has and Id hope SW would avoid that approach

typical of the internet age....8 pages of the usual moaning (mostly about lucas) and very little sensible discussion of what the content of ep 7 could be.

of course its never going to be as good as the original trilogy - alot of us were 5-10 years old back then and our vison of star wars was very different. Nothing can live up to the nostalgia of the original trilogy. Adult vs childs mind.

Will it be a continuation of the Empire or something completely new (most likely)? If its the former, it could be great (if you are a fan)

Things I have learned from Team Andromeda recently:

Nintendo can't make money and are a poor company.

George Lucas can make money and is therefore a brilliant film maker.

Yep and most of the time its never good to back. I thought the new editions to Red Dwarf and Only Fools and Horses to be rather weak and Riddley going back to Aliens (in all but name) was rather poor

I don't think the quality of the original trilogy has anything to do with the age people were when they watched it. They're objectively better than the prequel trilogy. People still watch them today and enjoy them because they're good films, not because of nostalgia. I'd be mightily surprised if even half as many people still watched the prequel trilogy as adults.

Ok set after Jedi, Vader dead, Empire crumbled , Emperor Dead, So no Empire no stormtroopers, if they can get a story and great characters out of this i'd be amazed, it has to be better than Ep IV or as good as or it will get slated, good luck with that.
