An amazing thing has happened to me in the last couple of months - I have started liking Star Wars again! Somehow, for reasons unknown, everything Lucas did to the original movies and the horrible prequels no longer matter to me. I'm still aware they exist, but I don't feel like they infringe on my enjoyment of the Star Wars I had when I was a kid anymore. It's great.

I should probably avoid these new movies to try and preserve the feeling.

But surely episode 7 will take place at a time when loads more jedi kids have already been discovered and been trained in a new jedi academy created by Luke n Leia?

Unless Luke is the only Jedi since episode 6 and by the end of episode 7 we have loads of jedis to combat the big bad?

Well Luke is the only person who can train anyone and he just got a crash course himself so it's not like he was going to have a Jedi university going any time soon. And we also know that Luke's family was particularly strong in the force. So he could have taken a long time to find any potential students even close to as good and the would have likely been only able to train one at a time and possibly not even all that well. And also presumably trying to tear down what remained of the Empire so he was likey rather busy,

The thumbnail actually changed between page refreshes for me.

It went from looking authentic, to being that AT-ATs at an airport spoof, without me even watching it. I see no evidence of Rick Astley however.

Impractical lightsaber. Looks okay. It's a very, very early teaser and seems that way. Still, at least they're avoiding the big hype of the AMAZING trailer followed by crushing disappointment. That's a plus. Would have liked to have seen some familiar faces.
