I'm just obssesed with an old Ministry track I have recently discovered called "Work for Love". It's maximum cheese but brilliant with it. It's crazy to think what Ministry are like today and then listen to this:

Today, I'm listening to a Tears For Fears B-sides album called 'Saturnine Martial & Lunatic'. It's got far more experimental stuff on it than their usual album material and is really interesting. First listen was a bit baffling but, by the third, I loved it.
It's not like Tears For Fears went unappreciated in their day but they are one of those groups I can listen to now and think their stuff is still fantastic and had so much more to offer than the pop I thought they were at the time.

Basically a recording of his TCT set from a few years back. Acoustic-driven, with a fair smattering of classic B-sides and tracks from the early Oasis days. Highlight is a brilliant cover version of 'There is a light that never goes out' by The Smiths.bough the yeah, yeah, yeahs 'its blitz' today which i'll give a spin to later.

just discovered the Nightmare revisted soundtrack on Spotify - its the soundtrack to Nightmare Before Xmas covered by various artists, some great stuff - the Korn version of Kidnap Santy Claws, Rodrigo & Gabriela doing Oogie Boogy's Song and a lovely version of Sally's song.
This is Halloween covered by ... ? Marylin Manson of course !
well worth checking out if you loved the film

Know Your Enemy - Green Day
It's alright, a bit repetitive mind, but it does the job of being a 'rallying' song for current issues in our society today.
I hope there is at least one Boulevard of Broken Dreams or Wake Me Up When September Ends kind of song, the melody non-punk/rock kind.
I'm not a huge fan of Green Day but some of their songs are great.
Also listening to a bit of the Kooks and Goldfrapp.
