didn't realise that Alice in Chains are doing new stuff with a new singer, usually this is a recipe for fan horror and disaster but the new guy sounds quite like the deceased Layne Staley and the single, A Looking In View, would sit well on any of their old albums

really looking forward to the album now, they were always one of the better grunge bands and I preferred them to Nirvana.

I am guessing this would be the same chap I saw play with them at Download a few years back... 2006? I was very impressed back then, I must say. Was expecting the worst and came away very satisfied.

Kasabian - West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum.

Got to listen to it because I've been forced against my will to see them at the M.E.N in November. I'll be kind and say maybe it's grower.

For some reason, they've always reminded me of rag and bone men, which is weird because one track, West Ryder Silver Bullet, sounds like the theme tune from Steptoe and Son.
