The new Mars Volta up today on spotify as well, its meant to be the 'easy' 'accesible' Mars Volta, certainly is more so than a lot of their stuff but you still get songs called Halo of Nembutals even in their approachable material

Just finished listening to La Roux's new album, fantastic stuff. Enjoyed every song on there, although I would say 'Armour Love' was my least favourite track.

Yeah, I quite like that album by La Roux too. Though, for me, In For The Kill is the top tune on the album and so is overwith right from the beginning. Quite like the remix that's on it though.

This morning, I have been listening to the new album by Killswitch Engage, which I'm loving. Then a little later, I'll move on to the new Spinal Tap album, which is mostly old stuff.

Edit: That Spinal Tap album turned out to be pointless and a bit rubbish. Still, the packaging is great. It folds out to make a diorama of Spinal Tap action figures.

Just started listening to the new Wilco album today, and so far so excellent. it always takes me a few listens toget into any album, but this one is sounding like a perfect summers listen.

Today, I was listening to that Gossip album and rather liked it. I had pretty much dismissed Beth Ditto as just some media curiosity and the single that's out now didn't do much for me but I was strapped down by some angry lesbians and forced to listen to the album.

And it turns out I was too quick with that dismissal. Much of the album I really enjoyed. Not all, but enough.

Been listening to a bit of Jacko this week. Mostly Thriller, and half of it is very good, the rest is ear screechingly horrible, but even Thriller's worst bits are more bearable than Earth Song. What an abomination that track is.

I've been listening to the first 4 songs on the La Roux album, then it all goes a bit boring.

Found a real nugget on Spotify, The Doors live @ the Matrix 1967, its a very early recording so sound quality not great but the band sound so alive and energised, unlike a lot of the substance fuelled sludgy dead later live recordings. 2 long cd's, pretty much play the first couple of albums. its great.

I just went and go the thriller album instead since the radio stations keep playing it.

PYT (Pretty Young Thing) is my fav track which im currently listening to. It has this upbeat motion to it.

Wanna Be Startin' Somethin', Billie Jean, Beat It and Thriller for me. All songs that make we want to dance like an embarrassing uncle at a wedding reception. The rest, urgh. Particularly that one with Paul McCartney. Just horrible.

Love this performance of Billie Jean in 2001, though. Even though his best days were obviously behind him, the guy still knew how to work a crowd...

Been listening to the La Roux album, , I'#m a little dissapointed, I've been listening to a few of the songs for a few weeks which were obviously not the same version that is on the album.

Tis a shame as they are much better, they have a much more distinct electronic chip tune sound to them which the album version doesn't have as much.
